The staff don't look to see how you pack your items. If you want to make sure you use all your bags, use em. If you take 10 bags in with you then just tell them when they ask if you need help with your packing "No thanks, I have bought my own bags". Then, when they ask how many bags you've used just tell them "I have 10 bags". Simples!
A carton per bag is entirely acceptable, you wouldn't want to wear your bags out now would you?:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Doesn't work like that in my local tesco. You take your own bags and the CA decides how many Tesco bags it would take to carry your shopping.
You can buy 10 items, and put 1 item in 1 bag and say you have used 10 bags. But the CA will think "They would have all gone in 1 Tesco bag if I'd packed it, so you have only saved Tesco 1 bag, you're only getting 1 point".0 -
ok, I will give it a try tomorrow and see how it goes. If they print my receipt on recycled paper with soy ink, I will feel like I am in Germany
