thank you!
Halifax definitely do them.
Although i think it takes them a while to send you out the stuff once you've applied online, but if you arent in a rush to open it...0 -
just thought i'd share this in case nobody has found out yet.
i've had a barclays basic account for a few years and was told today that all barclays basic bank accounts are now able to have chip and pin debit cards AND online banking.
so obviously i've applied for this now
the online banking apparently comes with this gadget that looks like a calculator, where if you want to sign on to your online account, you put your card into this and it generates a random PIN for you to use to sign in - apparently it's the securest method available.0 -
Can anyone recommend a basic bank account that will accept faster payments from Halifax? One from Barclays, Yorkshire bank, NatWest or HSBC would be ideal as they all have local branches.0

Just applied for a Cashminder account with the Coop and it has been referred. Anyone have any idea what this means? She also very curious as to why I was choosing this account and not a current account.0
