    Yeah that's why I questioned it. :)

    I have applied, Be interesting to see if I get it, Would be handy to have an account with a debit card AND a branch in my town.

    I'm sure you will get it.

    It's not even credit scored. As long as you don't have a record of fraud or bankrupt, I think you will be alright.

    I got my Co-op money minder card today. I was only accepted last monday so it took just 6 days for the card to arrive and account to be opened.

    Well it looks like i also got the Coventry account. I just called and they said there is a letter on the way for me to sign and they don't need ID because they were able to identify me electronically. All i need to do is send a cheque to start the account when i send the agreement back.

    i will post if/when it arrives.

    Yep thats what I got this morning, I'm hoping this means its a given that the account is mine, Sent the cheque and form off today :)

    Does the letter say your account details?

    Since you got a letter, I guess you are eligible for the account.

    IVA is a way to avoid bankruptcy as you know already. I don't think it matters... :confused: As long as you are paying your debts, you are ok.

    No it just says, "As soon as we receive your deposit cheque and signature we'll open a new account for you."
