Well I have made some progress today.
    • DD's dolls house has received it;s final coat of lilac and now I'm onto the pale blue  But I have managed to get an entire coat of that on every bit that needs it :D
    • I've bought the Christmas 1st class stamps from the post office while posting ebay parcels.
PLan for the rest of today :
    • Finish Christmas Cards - I was going to include an up-to-date school photo of DD but I think I'll have a rummage around our photo collection on the computer and print some out instead ;)
I might possibly do some more painting of the dolls house tonight. Just depends on how I am feeling later when DD has done her Christmas cards ;):rotfl:

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Ok havnt done much today as been doing paperwork all day.

Have put 1 load in wm which Im just about to empty then will reload. Am cooking tea now as we have to go out at about 5pm & wont be home till about 9.30 so have got a lot to do before 5pm!

I thing I have done is order Birthday pressie for the last birthday I have before Xmas and will pick up the card & wrapping paper tomorrow.

We are having a buffet style tea so at least have emptied the freezer a little more!

Oh well not such a good day - tomorrow can only get better.
  • Thanks for the shove, Moggins! Keep them coming. Having been following Flylady for a few months now, I'm pretty well on top of things. Loads have been decluttered, and the tidyness isn't too bad.

I intend to spend to tomorrow deep cleaning my kitchen (floor, hob, stove) then clear and clean the pantry shelves for the festive food.

Then move into the dining room. Freecycle some books from the shelves, clean the shelves and sideboard, sweep the floor.

I've also got the usual stuff (laundry, ironing, cooking, dishes, paperwork).

I'm planning my favourite Flylady trick of three 15min stints, followed by a 15min break, which will allow me to get in here and get motivated. 7_5_140.gif

Didn't break my duck at the w*** christmas raffle - 39 of us, 30 prizes, and I didn't win one for the 5th year running.

See you all later, Penny. x

PP... I never win anything either. I think I am the only person who has never won anything in their entire life!!

I have zero motivation today and now a pounding headache and the children are being dreadful.. bed early methinks!! I MAY get something done once they have gone.

Got distracted by DS2 as he was off school, waited 2 hours over appointment time, was vexed by the end of that to say the least, and ended up buying decorations (threw most out last year as were broken) but they are all up now so what was Thursdays job is now done, making a start on DS1s room tonight, he's not going to like throwing anything out.
One day I might be more organised...........

lil_me. My boys are 'attached' to their things too. We don't say we are getting rid or throwing them out we say we are giving them to boys and girls who have no toys or who are ill etc.. we usually pass them on to charity shop or nursery or whatever.. I don't really care where they go so long as they do. When they were younger I just used to tidy them when they were at nursery or school and say I had just put their toys 'away'. They would still have their baby rattles given the option lol.

    Happy flinging!!

I MUST do a spot of flinging in the playroom though, it is looking like an accident at toys r us in there at the moment!

  • 1) [STRIKE]strip our bed[/STRIKE]
    2) put new bedding on, [STRIKE]wash set taken off.[/STRIKE]
    3) check airers, turn clothes over/deal with dry ones.
    4) [STRIKE]empty bathroom bin[/STRIKE]
    5) deal with clutter on coffee table
    6) take my old dresses to show sister, let her choose what she wants, then charity shop the rest. I'm now too old/sensible to wear them now (also too fat) whereas she has put on weight and they'd fit her. Time to say good bye and move on.
    7) [STRIKE]put away yesterdays washing up[/STRIKE]
    8) [STRIKE]deal with post[/STRIKE]
    9) [STRIKE]make sure i have a shopping list/to do list for DH's day off tomorrow. and baby bag is packed for a quick get away to appointments and shops.[/STRIKE]
    10) clear some of the ironing pile

that should get me through the day and i'll try to deal with stuff as i see it.

    Michelle

cat litter trays emptied, 2 windows cleaned, one load in WM plus sink scrubbed at my mums house, kitchen benches tidied, some letters posted. Will tackle the ironing pile when i've given baby his final feed of the day at 9. at the moment he is being clingy and won't let me put him down.

will obviously have to put some fresh bedding on before i climb in tonight, and will be able to do my lists tomorrow when DH is here. He had to work late tonight which has scuppered me plans a bit.

will try to check back in tomorrow, but will be very busy with baby at hospital, cats at vets, and xmas and food shop needing to be done.

Unfortunately as he has Autism appealing to his nicer nature doesn't help one little bit, he will agree to it, then not sleep for 4-7 days, and keep looking for them. I've managed to take a bin sack out tonight of broken items, with sort of his permission. I'm going back in there tomorrow to make another box to try to get him to agree to me moving, then I will hide it, and if he doesn't react, then I'll fling them. School fayre coming up soon so a lot going there, and what we don't sell there is always donated to a charity shop, I volunteer to take the items myself then I know it's done.
