Never used Achica and having read the reviews dont intend to!! I do use a site called Secretsales, which i would recommend to others..have place orders on a few occasions and my items have always arrived before the expected delivery date. Their selling ranges from named clothing to household items..they do send a daily email highlighting the new ranges that are on sale...but hey ho doesnt everyone these days!!

I purchased 6 chairs from Achica nearly 6 weeks ago, they took the money (around £600) and promised delivery between the 11th and 16th June, i waited 3 weeks and i heard nothing from them so i emailed them (they dont have a call centre and take 48 hours to reply to any email) and after two days i got a reply to say that they can only give me an estimate of delivery and still no answer on where my chairs were. I then got an email from the delivery company to say that they were going to be delivered on 17th June so good news (if i had been working though i had no time to arrange a day off!), the delivery arrived and i had only 3 chairs! Achica had failed to notify me of the fact that i would only be receiving 3 and not the 6 i had paid for. I emailed Achica and the only answer they will give me is that the manufacturers are in short supply and they are waiting to hear from them. One of the chairs is damaged and they have told me i will have to wait a further 6 weeks for a replacement! I saved £500 by shopping with them but the hassle is not worth it, they are a nightmare and im still down 3 chairs and £300 quid. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

Having ordered several items, I didn't get all my items in the first package and ended up getting around 4 separate parcels. In each package was a note stating what other items i were waiting for. It took around a week for all my items which i considered good as in was december.
From what i beleive they do not store any of the goods themselves, only have agreements with the company to supply them certain amounts, so mistakes will be made if demand is great and alot of people are ordering at the same time. I will be using them again, as the products are of good quality names and exactly as described. Fingers crossed i don not get any bad experience.

It's a shame people do not speak up more about good experiences as this thread is the first negative words i have heard, and they seem to make more of a mark.
Hope everyone gets their goods or refunds!

Oh dear, I wish I'd read these posts before ordering from Achica. My order has only just become overdue and I've sent them a stroppy email already, but I won't be buying from them again even if the items turn up. I'm not impressed with any supplier that doesn't publish an address or phone number. Luckily I didn't spend much money with them, but for me it's all about customer service, something which, sadly, Achica seems to be lacking.

I placed an order with Achica not long back which arrived promptly but in general I find that their prices are inflated with the discounted price often being higher than the normal price elsewhere.

But what really puts me off ordering again is their attitude towards their customers, i.e. the people who ultimately pay their salaries. I have no inclination to deal with a company who claim that the way they choose to do something is to provide a better customer experience despite there being evidence on their own site that their customers do not agree with them! How arrogant!

I must have been lucky so far then! I've orderd quite a few bits and pieces from Achica and providing you don't mind waiting for them a bit it's all been good. Most of what I've ordered is stuff I've had half an eye on at full price but couldn't afford so I know which ones have actually been good deals. No damaged parcels etc received.
I would recommend perhaps googling the price of something online before buying though so you can be sure that the discounted price they are claiming is accurate!
Same goes for groupon etc!

This is the first time in my life I have ever felt the need to vent my spleen about a particular organisation but achica tahes the biscuit. Having placed a number of orders one after the other they began to arrive. The quailty is overated to start with and one after another fragile items have arrived smashed to pieces. Refunds are passed as and when they feel like and dont make the mistake of complaining in your email. I have yet to receive one having been told it was passed on the 13th it is now the 24th In heavens name who would pack a partially boxed set of glasses in a plastic bag and send it in the post. Take my advice check out sites they do not have a very good reputation

Whatever you do, do not be sucked in by this company, i purchased some dining chairs from them months ago and what should have took 4-6 weeks to deliver, took over two months just to get one chair! then the other two arrived another two weeks later, then another one arrived a week later than that and the then the final two arrived another two weeks on, 3 of them are damaged and its took 5 weeks for Achica to not only have the courtesy to call me but to tell me that they may not be able to get replacements, i have now waited another two weeks and still no answer. This company is appalling and the "so called" savings you make is no compromise for the stress and inconvenience this company causes you, stay away from them if you like good service, good quality products and a stress free buying experience!

I have ordered items in the past and they never arrived. Emails were ignored at first ( I got messages saying the email had been undeliverable???). Eventually they did respond and told me they were waiting on the goods and they would keep me informed. They didnt. I asked for a refund and i did get it a couple of weeks later. What really annoys me is they seem to be using all of our money, banking it (I presume getting interest on it) then eventually giving it back to us weeks or sometimeS months later (I was nearly 3 months). They dont have a phone number which I understand from reading other posts is not legal in the UK. I should have been suspicious before I ordered due to the lack of ANY customer reviews on their own website, after all, reputable companies invite customer feedback as the best advertising is by customer recommendation. I am trying to unsubscribe now to no avail. My subscription status is empty. I have resorted to sending an email requesting they remove me from their mailing list but dont holD out any hope. Has anyone else had this problem and did they manage to unsubscribe? I Laughed out loud when i went on to the frequently asked questions to see if there was any info on this - what came up was ,how do you pronounce achica.......UNBELEIVABLE PLEASE NEVER SUBSCRIBETO ACHICA
