I have placed mt first and last order with Achica.:(
I will be honest and the TV advert seemed to draw me in and have a look online.
The "estimated" delivery date has been and gone and no one has yet to answer my email. I know Christmas will be blamed for this but other big companies seem to cope with this season.
Maybe they should employ staff to man telephone lines as that would keep customers happy knowing they can talk to a human and they are being listened to.0 -
Sounds like varied experiences with Achica. I ordered a steamer from them and was really pleaased with my purchase, so mine was one of the positives.0

Well it just gets better. I still have not recieved any contact from Achica and the items i ordered are back on sale today.
The email i sent to them and tracking ID they had sent to me do not exist anymore on there system.
Has anyone any ideas on what I can do next?0 -
I've ordered a couple of times from Achica and, whilst on the whole they've been fine, I'm a bit concerned that some things might not arrive in time for Christmas.
There are apparently delays with some items - and you can find a list on their website as to what they're experiencing delays with. Unfortunately, the items I ordered are not on that list, even though they still haven't been despatched, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they'll arrive in time!0 -
:(I have ordered 3 items from them. 2 arrived on time and in good order. Item number 3 ordered 6th October for delivery 27th Novemeber has still not arrived. Told twice would be delivered by end of week, 3rd time told they would email company, not heard anything since. All the emails are very polite, but that does not help. Surely there must be some trading law that deals with situations like this? Are they not in breach of a contract selling stuff they have no power to deliver? I feel like I have been taken for a mug0

I ordered a couple of photo albums last Tuesday and they arrived on Thursday despite the estimated dispatch date of 18-24th December. But there clearly are issues with the company and I'd probably think twice about ordering again.0

Well I have received every thing I've ordered for Christmas and I really do love this site.
One thing I had ordered for a birthday later in the year which cost me £5.50 they can not fulfil so they have sent me a £15 voucher code.
I really think it's just like any other store people can have good and bad experiences and as Mado said if you really want something urgently don't order from there! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

I ordered two items on 7 dec, one I got last week. Then I got an email saying the second item would be delivered on 22 Dec, it didn't turn up and still hasn't. It was supposed to be a Xmas present for my brother visiting us Christmas Day. I am sure it is illegal not to give a phone number on the website, I did find an address although it took me some time. I have emailed them twice but got no reply, very poor service all round, I am one very unhappy customer !!0

I have now ordered several times over the last few months. Everything has arrived at around the estimated delivery date. This is not a site to use if you have a tight delivery window, but I've only ordered items for myself where delivery dates were not important. However, delivery was always in the timescale given.
In my expereicne email enquiries are dealt with promptly and politely.0 -
I'm concerned that they don't provide delivery costs until you've committed to buy; it's a bit 'pressure sales' because stocks are limited and there's a cut-off date of just a few days; there is no correlation between info about your order and the delivery details provided either by Achica or their delivery companies; you are supposed to 'know' the promotion your order belongs to if you want to send a message or check delivery (how?). You will have no idea what is being delivered if you've ordered several items. There is no means of reading the original description of the item you have ordered to check that what you receive is what you (thought you) ordered! Not satisfactory, and not therefore run entirely legitimately the paperwork doesn't accord with best practice although I'm sure the company is bona fides. Clearly they are a 'handling company' for many other companies and are simply drop-shipping. I am concerned that rrp are often inflated where the company is small so you think you're getting a better bargain that you are. It's often possible to find items at the same price elsewhere on the internet - or just a few ££ difference - but of course you can't compare delivery costs to see if it really is a saving. Ah - I feel better for having got all that off my chest!!!!! ;-)0
