    Still no joy with Achica :-(

    They asked me for a date on Monday for when my item could be collected for return. I responded immediately and asked for confirmation and haven't had a response since!

    I ordered from them on Sunday 4 December 2011 and was given an expected delivery date of between 7 - 12 November 2011! Not quite sure how they were proposing doing that :) Then, very early yesterday morning (01.00) they sent an email saying the item would be delivered yesterday and someone would need to sign for it so we cancelled our plans for the day, waited in and.....yes, you guessed, nothing arrived. As we've had workmen here all day today there has been someone around again today but not a sausage from Achica. Still no response to email (other than standard auto-response). Very cross at the time wasted and will definitely not be ordering from them again. Their head office is approximately 4 miles from our house so might pop in!

    Just an update to the above grizzle - item arrived this afternoon after earlier email telling me it would be delivered within a one hour slot this afternoon. It was, it's fine. Think they really need to sort out their processes though.

    Well good luck, you can't say you haven't been warned! I have learnt my hindsight lesson and will be looking for reviews before purchasing, and applying the rule that if something looks too good to be true it probably is!

    It's no different to anywhere else really; look around before you commit to buy something. I have bought items from them that I simply have never seen cheaper anywhere else.
    I think I have bought stuff from them about 8 times last year; only one item didn't show up on time and when I enquired they refunded me within 2 days. I know my items will take x weeks so if I need it before it's not the place to get it from.

    In my opinion, it should be illegal for any company to trade in the UK without publishing a phone number and street address through which it can be contacted.

    'Achica Customer Service' - what do you have to say about that ?
