I've ordered a couple of things from them. The first I returned as it was awful, baby soft shoes, and asked for a refund. I had to chase them a few weeks late and they did refund me immediately.I ordered something kitchen wise and it turned up and both items were fine. However they charged me twice! I had to contact them again and once again had a reply within 48 hours, apologising and credited my account within a day.
So although some items aren't good I've found their customer service very good.

Wow! I don't recognize the company through these comments. I LOVE the site and have always received great products. It states that delivery is generally around 1 month but I saved £300 on a watch, £60 on a Nespresso, £80 on Orla Keily bed linen so I will not be complaining.

This post smells of you being employed by these rip off merchants.......

I have always been very happy with everything I have purchased from Achica. And have spend a fortune with them. No I don't work form them. I haven't been fit to work for 10 years now and have to be careful how I spend my limited funds

I've ordered a lot of items from Achica over the last year or so. Have never had any problems at all - although I realise I may have been lucky as there do seem to have been a lot of other bad reports.

But all my deliveries have arrived within the stated timeframe, or quite often actually earlier.

Have been really pleased with the quality of items - for example we bought a fantastic wooden toddler play/walk set, top quality item at a massive reduction.

I would always check prices elsewhere before purchasing though; sometimes the supposed 'reduced' price is similar elsewhere, and Achica have high delivery charges which you need to factor in.

However, when the item has been cheaper I have ordered and been really happy. Most recent item came just a couple of weeks ago (again, a week or so early), a Phillips salad chopper.

I didn't want to be accused of working for Achica. I have no need to hide lol I'm rather a large lady so it's differcult  It does sound like a low budget advert lol

  • I purchased quite a number of items from Achica since I found them. The quality of the items are good and it has decent discounts on the website. Though the delivery were always really slow and the customer services are always terrible. It seems like they treat their customers like trash just because they think everyone would want to buy their products as they think they are the only store around that sells the items for discounted price.

I hate big, large corporation who pressures others just because they think they are a big corporation and clients or other third party has to adhere to their policy!

I would definitely start shopping from TKMAXX! Or other online websites which offer just as good a discount! Goodbye to Achica!
  • Ahicha is a company I have ordered from many times. It's all good, presuming you don't mind waiting long leadtimes. until it goes wrong and there's a problem. They don't have a tel no, you just get to reply to a thread on a website about your case.
They don't seem to exchange faulty goods, well not for me anyway, it was refund only, unless you can manage to buy the same thing in a later promo from the same co, then send original faulty one back; this is what I had to do as i had a set of things and wanted to keep the ok bits.
I have now waited 3 days for my faulty item pick up, sitting here waiting at home, and they sent the courier to my old address, and blamed me, saying i hadn't said I'd moved. They had been using my new address for delivery for months.
Anyway take your chances. I have had other things that have not been right.
My guess from my experience of product quality is that at least some of it is seconds. That's fine for the price but the customer service is the killer for me.
  • We were looking forward to sitting in our lovely new teak garden chairs this summer when we bought them from Achica (and paid for them in full) back in April. Delivery was promised in May.

Well, it's now the middle of June and, yes, you've guessed it we have NO chairs.
We must have heard every excuse in the book - mainly blaming their delivery company each time. "Oh it'll be with you soon, it's in their warehouse". All absolute rubbish.

Think it's a scam to hold onto your money (which they can then earn interest on).

They also have no interest in customer complaints and treat customers whose money they've had for weeks with contempt.

Take my advice - do NOT buy from this company!!

Oh...dear. I've been reading about this company on here and on other sites. Even their facebook page has complaints. I'm on a low income and I got tempted to spend £20.00 with them. Glad I didn't spend on furniture which was an initial temptation! Well I hope my purchase arrives as I can't afford to loose money. I can't see how a company can last with some much poor feedback.
Something sounds very fishy about this company.
