    I must be lucky! I've bought 2 items recently which have been delivered as they stated and I am very happy with them.

    Me too, I've ordered several times from them, no complaints at all -a friend also uses them a lot and has never had any issues.

    Received Firth sculpture today - damaged, but not in transit. Item had been broken and glued back together!! Unbelievable. No apology or explanation. courier arranged for return, just hope that goes to plan and credit card is actually refunded!
  • I have ordered 3 things from Achica and have given up!!!!

    The first items took 3 month to turn up. The second was cheap and qickish so I thought Id give them another try.

    I am still waiting to hear from them as to whether or not they can actually get my £500 order although they have taken my money! Firstly they supplied a chair when I had ordered storage boxes then took 10 days to have the wrong order picked up.

    They do not reply there is no pone number and their customer service has stock answers therefore NEVER actually answer any questions. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They are mean to reply within 48 hours .. I have sent 5 messages in the last week and not had a single reply! I have explained that I am pregnant and that this order of storage boxes is for the babies room BUT STILL NO RESPONSE!!!

    Seriously DONT USE THEM .. Most of the items are just as cheap else where and the fact that they take your money without even knowing if they can supply the item. They do not give refunds quickly and cannot even tell you whether the item will or will not be shipped to you.

    Where is the service in this!! :naughty:

    Hello Scot,
    I have a problem with this company at the moment. I have just read that people have joined facebook and complained to them that way and have had resolution to problems that have been dragging out for weeks, double charging, non delivery etc...
    This may be a way to get noticed. What kind of company does not have a phone number for customer service?

No contact number, copy and paste responses (I've used different email address and contacted them and basically said the same things and got the same generic responses) and long delivery timescales. No communication if deliveries are going to be late and you have to chase them for updates. If you don't respons within a certain timescale, they close the email thread as if its been resolved when it clearly hasn't. The only good thing about this company is that you seem to deal with the same person all the time so your not getting conflicting people.
    I would reccommend that you don't use this company but if you do, you do so at your own risk.

    The delivery times are long because they buy the stock from the supplier after the sale has closed. Basically they agree X amount if inventory to be held at the supplier, have the sale then ship in the actual number of units required, thus it helps keep storage space requirements lower. Their delivery dates are clear on your order and at Christmas they clearly show what goods they are holding at their warehouse that you will receive before xmas.

    It's the same model used by most if not all these sales companies and I for one have never had any issues with achica, and always found the quality of items very good.

  • I have placed over 12 orders with Achica since 2012 and never had any of the such a bad experience described in most of the threads here. OK deliveries are delayed but this is to be expected based on the business model. I got stuff refunded OK. I usually also found them fairly good value for money (you obviously need to pick and choose / do your own research) and especially if you combined with Quidco or other cashback website or with the frequent Promo code on offer...
    This is only my second order in 2013 (nothing I fancied to buy really this year), so will be able to assess if there has been a drop in their Service quality.
  • I have been a member of Achica for 2 years and have purchased 40+ items in that time. I have been very pleased with the quality of goods and with the service on the rare occasions that there has been a problem. In one instance delivery was delayed which was due to dispatch from the retail company. On two occasions jewellery has arrived promptly but damaged. The first item was replaced swiftly and remains a favourite of mine. In the second instance, replacements were not available but I was refunded within 3 days. On this occasion my query via the website resulted in a return phone call within 2 hours and the issue resolved within 24 hours. Thank you, Chelsea.

    I would advise researching the products you are considering and look out for the vouchers which are frequently available online and more than cover postage costs.
  • Hi I had a code given to me by my friens for £20 off to use on their website, however the item did not arrive and when I chased it they sent me a tracking number. However it still did not arrive and when I chased it they said they called it back and that I should not have used the code because I did not qualify for it. Can they do that?
