Wish I had read reviews before ordering from ACHICA - same story as other threads. Ordered a picture on 8 Dec 2013, money came out of account instantly - est delivery date 15 - 21 Dec. No picture, no communication and tracking info states 'ordered directly from supplier, no info available'. Waited the 20 days their 'customer service' stipulates before you can contact them about it. Got standard apology and told they would arrange refund and contact me when this was done but nothing. Emailed again a week later, same standard response, promised refund within 5 - 7 working days - nothing after 8 working days. Emailed them again and am now looking at next steps I can take. I will never order from them again. The TV ads set themselves up as an upmarket lifestyle company - what rubbish.0

Just had a brilliant time with the delivery company Achica uses, XDP. First off, they didn't rock up within the delivery window between 12:09-15:09. Second, they didn't bring the furniture inside the house which what I expect delivery guys do!! The £285 tv bench is sitting outside and I'm trying to figure out how to bring it in!! I'm complaining to Achica and to XDP, both of which I found out have some bad reviews.

They take your money and then deliver 1 of 2 simple bathroom items. A tumbler but no soap dispenser. Their online system doesn't even confirm one of two items has been delivered?
Glossy front with a rubbish backend process. Don’t be fooled/beguiled.
Ordered/Paid for 26 May with a revised delivery date of 8th July !!
I would not recommend this company - amateur !
Go to a shop and you'll get what you want, without the hassle

Bought a "new" Relyon mattress which was delivered on the 23rd December. We opened it and found a hole in the fabric, also, it really stank of foist/mould as if it had been stored in a damp area. The date code on it spelt out 2011 so I guess my suspicions are correct. We have tried many times now to have the item returned and get our full refund, this is proving very difficult with lots of failed promises of collection. We have now decided to take this matter to court and also sue for damages and our associated costs. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, I BELIEVE THEIR GOODS ARE SUBSTANDARD AND THEY DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.0

My two cents (for what it's worth) is that they are OK. They are not John Lewis so you should not expect the same level of service.
I've bought about half a dozen items from them over the past 18 months. Some items turn up within a few days, others have taken closer to a month. Last year one of my orders contained an incorrect item (scented candle); I sent them an email and they replied pretty quickly apologising to say they no longer had the candle I actually ordered but instead refunded the amount and told me to keep the incorrect candle.
My most recent order was a 2015 Christmas present which I ordered about 3 weeks before Christmas, it turned up about 5 days after I ordered and was of good quality.0 -
I ordered a total 7 items of 1000 thread count bedding from Achica. To date (23 February 2016) I have still only received 2 items. After being directed to complaints (I had to specifically request that my issue be escalated to a complaint), I have been informed that Achica is unable to fulfill my orginal order. I apparently therefore have to return the x2 items delivered if I wish to receive a full refund. I do not want a refund - I want the items I ordered! The supplier - Hotel Living- has been advertised on Achica selling 1000 thread count bed linen and pillows and mattress toppers twice since my initial order. Why then has Achica been unable to fulfill my order, despite having had my money in their account since 20 December 2015? Beware all ye who enter here...Order at your peril...You may lay down your hard-earned cash but it's unlikely you'll ever see the goods!!!0

Absolutely fuming with achica.com I ordered 2 pairs of designer sunglasses quite expensive but cheaper than any where else on the 30th may with expected delivery by the 21st June, we go on holiday in 5 days so decided to email them today as that's the only way of contact left my mobile num they rang me back on a private number reassured me they will arrive put the phone down and within 1 min received an email saying there really sorry but they are refunding the money for my 1 pair of sunglasses ( what about my second pair no mention ) and I will receive my money within 5-7 working days . Sent an email back straight away still not heard back they have had my money for a month making interest on it what a scam. But they did send me a 15 pound achica voucher ha like I will be shopping with achica again no way I would rather spend a few extra pound with a reliable company. Wish I would of read reviews for achica .0

I returned two bedside cabinets on the 20th June as I was told they were unable to replace a damaged cabinet, (but then told later they could after they realsied that the order was nearing £1,500). I only received a credit for one cabinet, after repeated requestes to have the other £299 credited we are still waiting. We have been told absolute rubbish as to why i t has been delayed, also, that it has been approved for payment. We are nearing just handing this to our legal people and also claim compensation. ACHICA are renowned for holding on to your cash after feading similar reviews. Our advice to potential customers of ACHICA is quite clear. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SUPPLIER, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND 2nd CLASS GOODS.0

Having taken their money, delivery was extremely overdue and was only actioned when I chased them. A further month later only part of the order arrived, several emails later and they were unable to complete the order. Up the very end they showed absolutely no sign of understanding what the problem was or why it would be irritating or disappointing. Do not order from them.0
