For some reason this caught my eye and made me think and I am now trying a new system where every time I get a pound coin I am not allowed to spend it - it goes straight in a little pot for savings which I thought I might use for little treats that I wouldn't normally be able to afford or for emergencies. I now find myself wanting to get £1 coins in change! So thank you to whoever has that in their siggie!
I like that idea! I'm away to round up the usual suspects and imprison them in a jar LOL.1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:

Mmmm strawberries, I could do with those right now!
I'm so happy to have discovered this thread. I am really stressed about money - thinking about it seems to take about most of my time right now - but I might just manage to make it with you lot to advise and inspire! I'm just so angry with myself - this time last year I had a well-paying job. Then my mum got really ill and various other personal things happened which really knocked me and I was battling to handle stuff, so I changed my job to part-time without really thinking through the consequences. I later discovered that being pt meant that my company could decrease my hours by 25% so now I am about to be on half of what I used to earn and I really don't know how I am going to get through. To think that I put myself in this position by my own choice....I just can't forgive myself for being so stupid!0 -
Morning gang
i`ve not tallied up all my receipts yet but i`m definitely going to be over
I had lots of coupons that were at risk of going out of date and didn`t want to waste them so i went shopping when i didn`t need to.
It will be a saving overall so i`m not concerned.
Another thing that i need to do is look at my dates as i`m not sure whether or not my June challenge should have started or not  hope so really or i`m well over :rotfl: I also need to work out Junes budget as this needs to include some nights out with friends which would have come out of the entertainment budget but as we wern`t using it and i had too many budgets i scrapped that one and lumped everything into the GC
Never mind - i know what i`m doing even if no one else does and at the end of the day if it saves money then it can only be good
All my receipts are spread around the house so i shall go and collect them all together now and work everything out later.
Have good days peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
