If only hun - if only :( but thanks for the thought :)
I read online today that Vaseline smeared on top of the fence panels deters cats because it gets on their fur and they have a lot of difficulty getting themselves clean, so I'm gonna give that a go when they're not around as I'll no doubt be given a mouthful if they see me.

Guccigoo I also hope you're starting to feel a bit brighter hun :grouphug:
destroyerofdebt I'm sorry for your loss hun :grouphug:

Will be buying me 5 packs of the Chicken on offer this w/e @ £idl (I hope) but that will come out of Junes budget as it wont be used until then and the offer is too good to miss.

Well definitely declaring at £65.30 in total for May :j:jI have shopped mostly from my storecupboards and still have stacks of stuff to get through also my freezer.I have concocted some odd meals around what I had and have only bought stuff rthat were essential and that I had run out of (mainly fresh fruit and vegetables.Tonight for example for dinner I have
    two lamb chops (from freezer)
    mashed potato (from freezer again)
    sliced carrots (again as above)
white cabbage (from guess where ):):)
Followed by a crumble that I will make this morning using a bag of mixed summer berries from
Yup the trusty freezer again This crumble should last me for several days and I have some long life cream I can add to it, or maybe make some custard using a small tin of evaporated milk from the store cupboards and some custard powder. If I do it with custard I will also make a jelly and use some of the custard to go on the top.Saturdays dinner will be sausages and mash and onion all in the freezer at the moment and on Sunday I go to DDs for dinner. My little list by the kettle is empty and I have no need to go anywhere near a shop until at least next thursday as I am out on Wednesday in London with my DGS and on Tuesday I am out for dinner at a friends.mondays dinner will be freezer roulette to see what i can find.By cutting right back this month I will put over £54 into our holiday pot towards our family holiday in August. Also hopefully by using up some of my freezer stuff I hope to be able to defrost the freezer before the holiday as well. A good months work I think, and I am mightily pleased with the result:j:j

With that in mind I am going to set a budget of £200 for June please Mrs M as i still have DD2's birthday and will probably have a little tea party for her ...

Aww! thats so sweet, I miss me too Lol, been up to my eyes in it, busy with paperwork B&B, repairs , the wind caused a lot of damage in the garden, then we had a guest (who's with us till xmas) come in drunk and crashed through the front panel of a £4,000 bathroom suite, leaving a gaping hole, we were able to repair it as the hole was on the bend near the floor, a few inches up and it would have been in the bin. My OH wanted to tell him to leave next morning, but I asked him to wait until we were able to inspect the damage, he sent me a bouquet of flowers to say sorry.

I was helping a chef with a do down the bowling green, he makes the most amazing Lasagna, I watched what he put in it an recreated it myself the other day, it was pretty close to his. I will post the recipe as soon as I get a minute. You will all LOVE this one!

I've missed you all too, I've got about 10 pages to catch up with, I hope to do that tomorrow. I hope you are all well, if anyone is poorly or sad. I send you all loads of hugs and big slobbery kisses xxxxx:kisses::grouphug:

    Hi Mothership

Could you please put me down for my usual £400. Have a delivery coming today to cover to the end of next week but I will include 2/3 in Mays budget and then add 1/3 to June. Thought this was the best way to do it.

Look forward to trying your lasagne recipe. Its something that I rarely cook as I don't seem to be able to get it right!!!:rotfl:

Take care and thanks for all you help.

    Morning All.

Hippeechiq I don't know what the cat problem is but I am guessing it is using your garden as a loo? If I am correct you can put dried chili powder down where it normally does it. As cats are creatures of habit it should work quickly. It did in our garden :D.

On the GC front I have spent a huge amount already. Between f&v shop, c0-0p and tesc0. I too have just realised its a 5 week month but I need to stay with my target to stay within the annual. I made a list last night to see how many meals I already had the building blocks for here. I am going to knuckle down.

    Thinking of Spigs :A.

    Gonna declare £72.70 / £90.00 for May!!:j

I've come in under for a few months now, so time to reduce it, will try for £80.00 in June please Mrs M.

My local T£sco has been closed for a week for a refit and doesn't open until Monday!! This may just have helped me in not going over. It's amazing what bad habits we get ourselves into isn't it!:o

Got my years supply of teabgs delivered! 6 x 240 bags. So I now have 1440 teabags to distribute to friends & family. I'll keep 1 pack for me, 2 each for Mum & Sister, and 1 to my friend who told me about the comp.

Well done Pipersky for winning the sainsbugs comp too, it all helps doesn't it.

Off to enjoy my long weekend, not back to work until Tuesday now!
