i have LO kfc from last night for my lunch today. a wing and the side of coleslaw. luckily OH paid for it hahahahaaaa. i have brownies tonight but when i get back i need to sort out my meal plan so i can get my shopping order in for delivery sat. i really fancy macaroni cheese for tea. last time i made it i copied jamie's 30min recipe, but none of us are keen on cauli and it was a struggle to eat it. i think this time i will just add LO lamb and bacon, and will top it with breadcrumbs to give it some extra texture.
HM loaves finished yesterday so had a small spend for a loaf of bread.DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Oh dear. Not quite the £37.71 of the mysupermarket shopping list. £74.74. Gulp. But £42 of that was whoopsies which by my calculations will do 20+ meals and is all going in the freezer so not going to be too worried. Off to update sig.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Think I might be able to do it this month
at some points during the month thought it would never be possible! Am currently at £234.34 and shouldn't need to go shopping again but I won't declare it until the end of the month.
Definitely feel like I have saved a lot this month since starting this challenge, it really does help me to think about what I am spending. And a big thank you to everyone that has provided some very nice recipes that have given me lots of inspiration!Grocery challenge: May £246.29/£250, June £385/£200, July £400/£300, August £198/£200, September £128.53/£120

I was AWOL last night - another migraine! I'll have weeks free of them and then suddenly a whole cluster of them - 1 or 2 per week. It did mess up my meal plan slightly though as I just didn't want to cook last night but luckily I found a pasta meal in the freezer that I could just heat up rather than going to the Chinese as the Old Me would have!
I wanted to add my thanks to those of you who keep posting recipes - it's lovely to get inspiration from others and tried and tested recipes are the best.0 -
Spent another €15 yesterday so looking a bit dicey for me as DD2 and dgds 1 &3 coming for a week on Saturday....they are finicky eaters at best of times so will have to stock up on stuff they will eat.....money seems to fly out of my bank/hands/purse at the moment.

Hi all, had 5 NSDs this past week, had to pop into the Sp4r today and pick up bread as I haven't been well, so too exhausted to do HM. Spent £4.18 in there as I picked up a couple of other things too. Got my final shop of the month to do tomorrow, should be under again thankfully!
Cat_smith, I shop in A!di most weeks and have never had a problem with their fruit and veg, often better than Mr Ts.Dec GC; £208.79/£220
