Olokia- it actually takes 15 mins for a person to register that they are full. That's why I start to slow down once half my meal is gone. I always pause, really take my time, chat, for the last half. Then I won't be too over full. Maybe try that?

i agree which is why people say when you eat out, you are supposed to chat and eat slowly. when i go with hubby, he has eaten his meal so quickly and iam still sitting there chopping and eating. i try and take 20-25 chews of my food. :0)

I eat far to slowly. Or so Oh tells me constantly. Have always been the same. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing.

I wasn't allowed to leave the table until I'd finished my dinner. :(

Me too Hadley - the joys of being a child of a post war parent. They had to eat everything I guess or else they would go hungry.
    Or that is my theory!

Glad I'm not the only one Sugar :rotfl:

Rups - Kung fu has always sounded like fun, but I am such a wimp. I'd be so scared of hurting myself. You have fun.

I have just been emailing my bridesmaid to say that I think I need to start carrying my SW books with me - so I know what I should and shouldn't eat. As I've kept quiet about following it at work I tend not to carry them, but then have to rely on memory and end up eating the same things over and over - so getting bored. OH has been telling me to be proud and let everyone know. Maybe I do need to follow that advice as I need to be a stunning slim bride - as Jo says I need to win. :j
