yeah hadley, tell people.. why not? :) Kung fu is fun but i get so tired as the warm up which takes half an hour is so intense. :( and then the actual kung fu takes an hour.. thinking about it is making me tired now. i dont want to go but once i am there, i am sure i will be fine. i do have to get straight into the shower and then bed when i come back. i go to bed way too late. :(

as its nearly 5.. i will log off now... so lovely ladies have a lpvely evening and speak tomorrow. xx

I do eat quite fast so I will try to slow down. Thanks.

Because it is 15 minutes drive + 10 minutes walk to my nearest gym, OH and I tend not to go because it always takes too long and I don't like to exercise for long so I think what is the point?

So we've bought a treadmill so we can exercise at home. I will be much more likely to use it and we will save on gym fees so it will be MSE (in the end).

I love it and I've burnt 869 calories today because I can do it in 2 shorter sessions which I prefer.

Hope everyone has had a good day. Well done those who have lost :) I am finding it hard to resist the yummy free food on my course. Doing ok so far though.

I was also told to eat everything when I was younger if I wanted pudding (which obviously I did, haha!) I mostly eat everything on my plate now but my meals tend to have a grasp of my correct portion size. So I don't feel hungry or too full. I don't have pudding that often at home (but practically always when out!). This time at the moment is my 'dangerous' time; once I am home but OH isn't, pre dinner. It is too easy to snack. I am doing ok at the moment though.

Not sure what I am going to do for dinner tonight. Might do pasta...

Hope the gym was good Jo :) and kung fu was good Rups :)

Evening all, I've been reading for a while and never really had the courage to join but I really need some support as I'm struggling on my own.

I've gained an awful lot of weight after having the kids and an OH who's a feeder but skinny as anything and now find I need (and want) to lose 6 stone _pale_

I have over 2 years until the wedding which I know is plenty of time but I keep finding excuses to put it off and I'd really like to make a big dent into it over the next year.

OH is in the Army and away during the week and a lot of the weekends which means I can't get to a gym, I work during the day as well.

Any tips on weight loss, exercise at home etc will be gratefully received.

Welcome Kelbag and well done for deciding to loose weight. It s hard but it can be dnoe and everyone on here is tryng some way or another.
Everyone is tryng a different way - slimmng world, weight watchers, my fitness pal. I am trying Paul Mckenna and I can honestly recommend it. I have no idea how much weight I will loose BUT my attitude to food is changing and I finally feel like the tide is changing.
My exercise is walking - which I think would be brilliant for you. Even just a little bit would start to help your metabolism and make you feel better.
    Best of luck.

Thanks sugarwalsh, main problem is that the kids are quite young so it's difficult to get out with them. I have to allow 10 minutes just for them to get shoes and coats on in the mornings.

I'm planning on having a wander around the business park where i work at lunch and just eating stuff I can hold in one hand fruit, wraps etc while I'm walking. I have a Paul McKenna cd somewhere which got hidden in the cupboard, I'll have to drag it out. Never heard of my fitness pal, I'll have a look at that.
