Rups, I think that is totally justifiable- o course it is going to be difficult. BUT it will happen to you one day, an when it does you will be so happy. ((hugs))

thinking of DL is making me want togo back to my old gym as well. It was lovely... :) they have tennis courts too. lucky you Jo. :) i hope when we move to Kings cross in June, we will have a better gym as my LA Fitness now is rubbish.:( (only in terms of their communication and how some of their instructors never start on time!!)

Hi all - hope you are all doing well?
Just thought I would pop by with a quick update about the Paul Mckenna thing I started last week. I'm not supposed to weigh myself until next week, but I had a quick hop on this morning and I have lost a pound. However, I really am not too concerned about the weight loss, I just wanted to recommend it to you all.
I have struggled with my relationshop with food for SOOOO long and now I feel I have been freed! I had really fallen out with food - I wasn't really enjoying what I was eating, I was eating the right amount of calories and nothing was happening. However, now I am enjoying everything I eat and I am genuinely eating what I want. I don't spend all day obsessing about it and I am finding I am making healthier choices naturally.
I know I am babbling, but I am so pleased to be able to refer to my cook books again and love making food without the fear of stuffing my self with food!
The other plus point is the cd is very relaxing which is good if you are getting stressed about your big day, or indeed anything else!
If you can get hold of a copy have a read and a listen and let me know what you think.

hey sugar.. i totally agree with you.. i MUST remember to go and dig out my book.. as far as the cd is concerned, i burnt it and have the thing on my mp3 player, so i dont know why i always skip that! i always find if i listen to it on the tube, it wont work!! haha.. must try it as you were right, when i started reading it, i actually used to pay attention to how i was chewing my food and how yum it tasted. even the bad food!!! so whenever i even had a cheesecake, i enjoyed but found i could never finish it, as he does say, just eat till full and you will know when you are full!! thats it!! that is the way for me! at least can enjoy food without feeling the guilt. think that is what it is about!!!

That's what I find good. When I am full I stop eating immediately! If I am out I ask the waiter to take the plate away! Or else I pick!
