Rups - I am glad you have said that because everytime I pop on here to see how everyone is doing I notice you are beating yourself up about eating something 'bad'. The irony of it all is I have also kept a record on my fitness pal some days and I have found I have naturally eaten about 1400 calories, which is what I was aiming for before!

My full feeling gets delayed. If I feel full and stop eating then, I will feel too full 5 minutes later.

I also hate leaving food. I was always taught to finish my plate and I think it is a waste of food if I leave any.

true Jo and olokia and sugar!!! i hate wasting too as was told never to leave food, so when i leave food at the restaurant, i ask to take it away, as much as my friends get embarassed by it! lol you are right sugar, i do feel bad about it and its that guilt that gets us to put on weight. even stress in itself isnt good as your hormones start producing cortisol and that aims straight for the belly! so i am going to enjoy whatever i eat now and not worry too much about it. life is too short but everthing in moderation hey? :)

give it a go. I just ate a lovely orange, fennel, watercress and goatscheese salad. I feel fullish, but the best part is I can eat something later if I am still hungry...

I was also told to finish my plate- or I don't get any pudding. Which to me is the point of some meals!! :rotfl: My OH has managed to break me out of it though. He is always saying if you don't want it don't eat it!! It works... Apart from when I do want it (like chocolate......) then I have to try REALLY hard!
