Going to join David Lloyd. I know it really expensive, but if I go home after work I will just snack and watch TV. There I can do classes, eat, go gym, play tennis, swim, an enjoy the sauna etc! I can actually use it as a club. If I go to other places I end up talkin myself out I it! But it's nice there!

Is it the one in Kidbrooke? i might have got the location wrong. lol. At uni, i was at the kingston DL and it was amazing. Just like you said, eat, use gym, sauna etc. ahh bliss! :)

i am tired now. ready to go home. :) i bought myself one of those protein bars from hollans and barretts so if i feel peckish i can eat that. have started a diary today too so fingers crossed. am going to just eat healthily and cut out crap slowly. :)

Yeah the kidbrooke one. Feel a little bad because it's not MSE at all- but tbh I don't have any friends in the area I could go out with, so it keeps me busy when I am alone.

I'm looking forward to it too. :)

    Hi everyone,

I'm weighing in tomorrow morning so fingers crossed! Not a drop of wine has passed my lips this week and I feel i've been quite good. Just had a call that my dress has arrived, sooo excited!!!

Rups, take it easy don't stress yourself you've got enough to deal with!

Jo, just googled the DL place it looks great. The gym I go to is just a plain gym but on a saturday I've started going to the gym and pool which is £12.95 for one day plus i'm paying £19 per month for my local gym. Wish I stayed nearer the hotel, well worth paying more for a membership if it has so much. Your less likely to get bored and your also more likely to do more like go to the gym and swim. Plus if its a nice place its a bit more inviting! Probably be more MSE in the long run :) Well Jel :rotfl:Do you have to pay extra for the food? Pretty good if you don't, how much is it per month if its not too cheeky to ask?

Well i've stopped off at the library on the way home as I walked to work today, completely confused everyone! MIL2B asking OH why I wasn't at work because my car wasn't there!! Need to drive tomorrow because i've got a meeting to rush away for but going to try walk each morning. I only live 5 mins away but driving gives me 5 mins more in my bed in the morning, haha, so lazy! Hope everyone has had a good day! I managed to aviod the burger option for lunch and had a cheese salad roll instead. Flapjack as a pre gym snack though.

Yeah, u have to pay extra for the food. I'm actually ashamed to say as it is sooo ridiculously expensive.... :o

It's £70 odd a month for 12 month contract, £100 for 3 month contract!
And I will go for the 3 month cos I don't think I can commit to the 12.... :o
I know... Don't all hate me...!

    Hey,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Try not to be too hard on yourself Rups. Just ease back into the exercise and healthy eating gradually. Jo enjoy the gym. I know exactly what you mean about not having many friends in the area; we don't have many friends here either and lots of our friends from 'home' have also moved out of the area what with them going to uni etc too. Makes it hard to see them regularly but means we have really fun big get togethers :)

The weekend was pretty good diet wise, or certainly not too bad. Same today :) Been at a course again (will be till thursday) so not on here much. This one is really fun though, well as fun as a compulsory course can be! haha. Jo hope your OH enjoys his first seat :)
  • Well done Em on your good weekend. Good luck with the course, if they are anything like the courses i go on for work they constantly taunt you with yummy food in the breaks!
That is expensive Jo but it'll be worth it if you use it! You seem to get a lot for the money though. Would be more expensive going to a boot camp/ detox hotel weekend, at least its a whole months use. Thats the kind of thing i tell myself when trying to justify things like that anyway! Enjoy!
