Good luck girls works fab for me,what i dont do though is if i burn off say 348 cals doing a 45min zumba session it puts it back onto your cal count so i just remember that once i get down to that not to eat anymore i dont see the point in burning it off to eat it again also keep an eye on the portion size say if u add a tin of tuna it will count the full tin so if your only having half make sure u change it to half a tin and little things u might not think of like marg/butter on bread.if u can stomach it have the hovis nimble bread i really like it and its only 51cals a slice.funny how it adds up.i have porridge for brekkie which is 113 cals0

Also just to add for women its 2000 cals a day normally and men 2500 incase u wasnt sure or didnt know0

Well it tells me I have had 1176 cals so far today but burned off 197 walking home. Fingers crossed I will remember to use it.
I eat pretty healthily (I think) but just bother with calorie counting normally. My main problems is when I snack as once I start I don't stop! lol.
Not sure tomorrow will go well as I am going out for dinner with FIL to be and OH. This normally means a curry. Yummy but not healthy.0 -

I get to try my dress on again in about 40 minutes :j. I am meeting a dress alteration person to find out how much it will cost. I hope it still fits, I have no idea what weight I was when I bought it last May and it fitted perfectly then0 -

That is a very generalised number though; a very useful starting point, but not actually that precise. For instance, if I ate 2000 calories a day I would put on weight; 1400-1500 is enough for me on a normal day - more if I do a lot of exercise. There are calculators online to work out how many calories a day are right for you.Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

Hi girls, I know I have dipped in and out of this thread like a yo-yo but with 6months to go im knuckling down! Been at the gym everyday for 2 weeks ( apart from last sat i went swimming ) and ive completely cut out alcohol... i know these can be part of a diet but no time for slow and steady! In the ideal world i would be 7st lighter to be at healthy weight but its unrealistic by the wedding so 2lb a week = 3st is my target. Well done to everyone else for keeping it up!0
