Can I join you girlies please?
I've downloaded myfitnesspal and am ready to go.
I'm usually really quite healthy and float around a size 10 to 12. However I've hurt my foot so been off work for what seems like forever and can't get to bootcamp or gym and I'm not allowed to swim due tot he pressure of the water on my foot.
next week (1st) i'm due an operation and have been told I will have 6 weeks bed rest................... hhmmm so I really need to control what I'm eating.
I can't wait to start properly. I got my dress today and love it, but it doesn't do up at the back - I'm ok as I have over a year to go :rotfl: but want to get it under control now.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

Blimey, ok, I am a freak. Sorry... I had a real blonde moment there. It could be the fact Rory was shouting inmy ear about Museli whilst Farrah was telling him to shush in the other ear. Well, that is my excuse.....
HOW is your dress? Apart from not fastening?

ha ha ha it's ok, don't worry about it.
It is absolutely stunning, there's not a mark on it, it came in a huge box - I felt a little like Carrie in the SATC movie :rotfl: I got it out and looked EVERYWHERE! Even the train is spotless I am so so so so chuffed and thrilled.
The dress is the perfect length too. It zips so far but not fully, I'm really not worried about (maybe that's a problem in itself) but i've not been well and have been very immobile, so fingers crossed once my 6 weeks have passed I'll be ok. I recon I might need to loose just over half a stone. But it's obviously from my back - my legs are fine - so I'm going to have to concentrate on aerobic stuff for waist up (although the waist is ok) so any advice fire my way.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Yay.!! Another bride who is getting married after me! Was getting worried that I was going to be left all alone on the thread... :rotfl:
I am using that app now. During the week anyway! I don't worry so much at weekends. Will know whether it is helpin me on Friday morning.
I am going to walk in to work (different office tomorrow), if it's not raining too hard. Then swimming again on Thursday maybe.... Really hope I have lost a bit this week! I am tryin to be good!!:T0 -
74 jax, I am so pleased it is perfect. I am sure you will be bale to zip it up as soon as you become mobile again. Johanna, glad you will have company! MeganMay GC - £100 per week

When you lose weight, it comes off from everywhere even if you concentrate on a certain area. So just do whatever aerobic exercise you find the best when you can move again.0
