Hope you both feel better soon.
A dog would definitely help because I would have to go outside to walk them.
When I was 14, I used to walk a neighbours dog for an hour a day and more recently my MIL2B's dog when I lived with her for 3 months. So I know it will get me outside, I just need the dog which I can't have until I am home all the time which is only when I have kids.0 -
and me too :(have to wait for kids etc etc and be a housewife so getting a dog will be fair too
cant wait! i have a 6k santa run this saturday. wish me luck! haha

I walk to work most days which is about 2.5 miles each way but that is making me lazy with other exercise as I think 'oh well I am doing lots of walking'. I like to think if I was at home all the time I would exercise but I know I probably wouldn't! As much as I want children in a few years once my career is sorted I hate the thought of staying at home all the time. I haven't studied and worked hard for years to qualify only to then stay at home. In an ideal world I will work 3 days a week so I can have a nice balance.
Just had beans on toast for lunch, with pineapple and yogurt coated blackcurrants to go with. Yummy.
Hope you feel better soon Jo! You too Rups. How is the training going for your run?0 -
I am going to York.
OH uncle is a flower wholesaler, n he is paying n sorting out all our wedding flowers. So going to sort out that. Also do some Xmas shopping, site seeing etc.
:T0 -
oohh how exciting JO, no you cant be ill.
i cant as well as have to try and run..
Em my training is not going at all.. so i dont know what i will do.. prob end up walking halfway and trying to run the other half.. haha Em i think as well as I have a background in cancer research and not doing anything with it! :0( but now i just feel i am prob ready to sit at home for a while.. knowing me i would get bored so like you said, workign part time would be ideal.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Oohhh how exciting Jo. I love wedding planning weekends
Really want some chocolate right now. Have realised it's only four and a half months till the wedding so really need to be good but everything naughty is so tempting!
Heehee I am sure you will be fine Rups, the crowd will spur you on and all that.
I would have the full maternity allowance but then would want to go back after that. Guess I would have to do some stuff in the year off too though to keep up with changes; that or just loads of reading all the time lol. It's all irrelevant right now anyway don't want kids for a few years yet; we both find them too irritating at the moment! haha0 -
try and resist em.. try.
i cant talk esp after having some discos. oops

Oh Jo - hope you will be fine. how exciting.
Rups - ope you get well soon as well.
You lot are putting me all to shame. Good luck with the run Rups!! Very impressed. I'd be crawling most the way.:o I really need a kick to start the exercise. I do try to walk when i can, but its difficult when I live so far away from most places. Definately can't walk to work its over 35 miles away. :rotfl:
But as I say I need to shift this weight and be a stunning bride by August - so am going to have to do some!! Any ideas to ease me in would be wonderful.
Am I mad to think that I may be able to lose teh 3.5lbs I need to get to a stone by Thursday??? Having weighed myself last night I appear to have lost 1lbso somehow need to shift another 2.5lbs.
