    Hi :wave

    Ooh what day in May? I'm the 7th May - Early May Bank Holiday

    Have you joined us on the May 2012 thread?

    Exercise Boot Camp? Is it BMF or another one?

    The exercise boot camp is just a local one my friends boyfriend runs (so luckily he lets me pay mates rates) plus it's indoors, I'm certain I'm not brave enough for BMF in the frost.

    We actually haven't booked a venue yet :eek: so we don't have a date. It's all happening quicker than it would have done due to a member of my family being terminally ill. We were originally thinking next autumn but we've brought it forward to May.
    We've been to see a few venues and will hopefully be booking something this weekend. Probably for the first bank holiday weekend in May too-so right near yours. :D I'll be sure to join the May 2012 thread, thanks for telling me about that.
    Just typing the fact we have to organise a wedding in 5 months is stressing me out already. :rotfl:

  • Rups, if only one side of your throat hurts it might be a throat infection rather than cold symptoms. I get them sometimes, usually quite mild, but it might be worth seeing your GP; they'll sort you out pronto!

    Welcome to the thread Giddytimes, and welcome back sweetilemon! Don't worry, I've dropped in an out of this thread a few times now! :o

    oooh white, it is such missions to go to the GP near me! :( oh no infection though? i have been taking ibuprofens and drinking hot water as i cant bear normal water. lol

    giddytimes, sorry to hear that about your relative. :( *hug*

    theses times are always hard, but with 5 months left you still have time. My manager planned hers so quickly in 3 months. she just went and booked everything. :0)

    i also love crisps nowdays and i was naughty enough to add them onto the shopping list.. weird hubby brought back a bag of them yet he 'forgot' my soup ingredients. lol. i am to blame for the crisps. now its more the salty stuff like crisps rather than sweet stuff. weird.

    Good luck with finding a venue.

    I used to do BMF 3 days a week from October last year until March this year in the snow and frost. I soon warmed up but sometimes I wondered why I was doing this. I hurt myself as soon as it started getting warm and then health problems meant I haven't been able to go back.

    We are very friendly on the thread

    ahh ladies. i think i seemed to have found my motivation back!!!! :0) yay.. ok not seem but I HAVE!!!!

    i 'forced' myself to go to body pump as the teacher is soo energetic and positive and friendly. I met one of the personal trainers there and we were just walking to the gym, and he said that i had lost a lot of weight!! i was so shocked and said really? i said i didnt think so and felt i had gained! he said it could be muscle as long as my clothes werent tight, and i said slightly. Then he said that i looked lean and that made me so happy.. so here i go.. every time i feel yuck or dont want to go, i will think of what he said and dash. ahhh bless him.. throats still dodgy though and the class was a killer!!!!:rotfl:

    Ah Rups thats such a nice compliment!!:jAs you say, its something to remember and use. :)

    Just remembered that I was going to post a soup idea - so here goes from SW's little book of Soup:

    Quick chicken and noodle
    • low calorie cooking spray (eg. Fry light);
    • 1/2 small onion - finely diced;
    • 1 glove garlic - finely diced;
    • 750ml chicken stock;
    • 60g vermicelli or thin nodles;
    • 200g cooked chicken (skinless and boneless);
    • 4tbsp chopped parsley; and
    • salt and pepper.
    Spray a lrage non stick frying pan with the low calorie spray and place over a medium heat. Add the onion and gralic and sir fry gently for 1-2 minutes.

    Add the stock and vermicelli adn bring to the boil. Cover, reduce the heat to low and cook gently for 6-8 minutes, until the vermicelli is cooked through.

    Add the chicken adn parsley to the soup and cook for 2 -3 minutes until pipping hot. Season to taste before serving.

    Haven't tried it yet (as still no good food in the house - whoops must go shopping), but the pic looks really yummy and it reminds me of being a kid. :)

    ahh thanks Hadley! thats so sweet. yes, every time i lose focus i will use that.. might write it down and stick it infront of me. hehe. bless him. i know i have put on as the scales show me so but if he says its muscle, then i will happily go with that! hahahahaha :)

    I have stolen your recipe and will creat a new folder with soups! hehe. this one seems so easy as well. yum!

    I am also going to print a picture of Nicole Sherzinger (i can never spell her surname) and stick it infront of me as she is gorgeous and has a fab body!!

    Yes - you should make sure you remember it :rotfl:And being a PT he should know what he's talking about!! I still have to get my pic of a woman in a lovely wedding dress to motivate me.

    Oh forgot to add for any of you doing SW the chicken noodle soup is free on extra easy, 4.5 syns on a gren day and 2.5 syns on a red. So guess it will be an extra easy day when I make it. :)

    Umm most stopping looking at soup book now and get back to writing my boring report (don't believe its not even 3pm yet). :(
