Well done to those that have lost
Rups I know what you mean about wanting something warming when it is cold. I find porridge good though as it comes in sachets of the right portion size. When I just have normal cerial I end up having a huge bowl!
Food stuff ordered to come tomorrow with plenty of soup supplies
HAve no idea what I am going to do for dinner today though as have NO food in...0 -
Remember exercise will make you warm.
I need to lose another 1.7lbs and then I will have lost 1/2 stone.
I have 23 weeks until the wedding so I can try to achieve an average of 1lb weight loss per week until then minus 2 weeks for christmas....
21lb weight loss in 23 weeks. Achievable or not?0 -

olokia you can def achieve that. it is known anyway that slow loss of weight is better than fast as it stays off longer. SW did that for me, but now i need to see what to do again. MIl is so good she goes to WW.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Thanks, I will make that my wedding goal.
I was just looking at my weight graph and in 4 weeks I have lost 5.3 lbs (including the bad week) so 21lbs looks very achievable.0 -
Thanks everyone.
megan - you have been really good. Well done. I need desperately to do some exercise... can I ask what you are doing?
Rups - I meant to get some soup ingredients as well, but haven't quite made it. But thats because I was fed up and just wanted to get straight home yesterday.
Really must try harder or this weight will never shift.0 -
I got home to find H2B made veg soup! It was very yum!:T0

Hadley, I just walk. EVERYWHERE! I aim to walk for at least an hour 4 times a week, with some short ones thrown in for good measure. I give myself challenges, for example, yesterday I wanted to go to Boots in town (About 1.5 miles away) so I left the house at 10.30am, walked to Boots, got what I wanted and walked back in time to pick up DD from nursery at 11.30am. Normally I would have an amble around etc so restricting time means I walk faster and I don't stop for naughty Costa.
I am going to get back to doing pilates too as I found that really pulls stomach muscles in, but I got roped into making sheep masks and stars at school today!

ahh megan thats something i want to try - pilates. my kung fu teacher said if and when i want to have kids, he wont let me train with the usual lot as we are quite rough when sparring with each other, so he has told me to strenghten my stomach muscles by doing pilates so that will help me in the future. the thing is the gym does pilates but its at 7.30 or somehting in the morning. there is no way i can leave home earlier to come for that! they just dont have any decent pilates classes in the gym! have a dvd but havent used it (as usual).Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
