I will provide a parsnip soup recipe when I make it too. It's quite nice (and I am not a huge fan of parsnips!)

Sounds like a "souper" idea.... :rotfl:sorry couldn't resist.

I'd love to have some new ideas for soup. I'll dig out the book tonight and will post something tomorrow.

That's a really good idea Rups! I will look through my book laterand post one.

One that I make without a proper recipe is roasted butternut squash and sweet potato; I use equal amounts of squash and sweet potato (normally a squash and 2 potatoes) which I roast in the oven (having sprayed with a little bit of olive oil) at about 180 degrees with a couple of cloves of garlic for around 20 minutes or so. Then put in a pan with a couple of carrots, a red onion and a small normal potato. Cook it off while the kettle boils then add a jug full of stock (aound a pint) and let it come to boil before simmering for around 30-40 minutes. When done blitz it in the blender. If it is a bit thick I add extra stock. Yummy.

Just having lunch; carrot, cucumber and pepper sticks, bread sticks, pineapple and yogurt coated blackcurrants (had some mini jaffa cakes earlier for a snack but the pack only had 5 rather than 6!! I felt cheated!!)

ladies you eat so well and say you dont..:p i wish i ate like that! :0)

i managed to stay full with my jacket potato yesterday, so didnt even have room for satsumas or yoghurt.. so went home and hubby had kindly made some spag carbonara. He put such a large potion on my plate that had to tell him off, so he said to eat as much as i could and as predicted, i couldnt finish it so he ate it. then we had some pineapple slices too. yum..hubby was naughtier and had a few eclairs and some small choc bar things he got from tescos! i managed to stay away from them! yay!! :0)

today, have a sore throat and trying to eat my breakfast (Jordans cereal) yum!

well done, I'd never have been able to stay away.

I was a bit naughty and found out Sainsburys do Salted Caramel Chocolates and had to buy them (I've been looking for them everywhere since Sainsburys stopped doing a Salted Caramel dessert last year). And the first one was so good that I had to eat another. :o

I'm happy, since getting over my plateau, I have lost 1.3lbs since Friday so I'm on track to lose 2lbs this week.

I'm not going to my bad Wednesday gaming night meal thing as I have leaving do to go to on Thursday so thought it would be a bit much to do both.
