Been into town and had eyebrows waxed, taken back some sandals and got some new ones, tried on 3 tops but resisted (would have bought 1 but the 16 was too big and they didn't have a 14!)

Now about to make a beef casserole to go in the oven for tea and then go food shopping, catch up with you all later
    xx

I've done some filing... located my passport ready for monday (had a bit of a panic when it wasn't where I had expected it to be :o) and have planted a few little bits and pieces.

I have 6 BIG holes to dig in the garden tonight... one in the new bit and 5 in the bit that's been neglected for the past year, so is a mixture of hard clay and weeds (bindweed, goosegrass, creeping buttercup). However, overall the garden is starting to come together, although the back needs serious work and the main flowerbeds still haven't had their shapes cut properly. I also need to try to start the mower, as the lawn and hedges need tidying up tomorrow.

Summer duvet washed and dried on the line. Only one more load of washing to do before I leave on Monday.

Might try to summon up the energy to walk to the post box when it cools down - I have some work paperwork and my postal vote to get rid of :) I should have been organised and packed up the books I need to post, but didn't get round to it, so they'll have to wait till I'm back...

ETA - expenses submitted, printed and filed with receipts in my work bag for whenever I happen to be passing the office (they're paid when we submit, we just get nagged for receipts... my old admin support person used to photocopy before sending them on, this one doesn't, so the £5k of receipts I submitted from a trip last year that appear to have gone AWOL will stay that way as I really can't be bothered to contact everyone to ask for duplicates...)

BTW thanks to who ever suggested asking the pharmacy for a loan of medication when I ran out over the Easter bank holiday weekend...they did!!!!

Well the beef casserole was delish and the dumplings even more so nomnomnom

sadly OH's Nan died this afternoon at 3.45pm he's okay so far but I am on the watch for the big black dog which will no doubt be looming :(

right, must get on and do something, not sure what to do but something.....
