greenbee for goodness sake - can you afford to throw away £5000 - I know most people couldn't - dont be so lazy and do something about it.
It's OK, they've been paid... otherwise I wouldn't have taken the chance! But quite frankly I don't quite see what they pay our admin support for if she doesn't do the photocopying (it's not exactly good use of my very expensive time...)

One hole dug and planted up. Plants watered. Need to sort out some food, and then plan tomorrow's activity...
  • msgnomey; My condolences to you and you family on the passing of OH nan, ((((Hugs))) coping and keep strong vibed winging there way to you and your OH.

AJ Im keeping you and your family in my thought and prayers

Greenbee I hope you have a good trip.

DD accompanied me to the shops this afternoon so that I could pick up some fresh veg for tomorrows dinner. We also popped into the local book shop and a well as buying DD a book I picked up "Living with a Willy" for DS as he has started to ask a lot of questions recently and while I try to be as honest as possible I dont always know the answer.

Dinner has been made and eaten and kitchen S&S'd, so I think Im know going to sit down with a glass of wine and wait for OH to call and say that he has finnished the coast to coast.

Sexymouse it's a bit of an anticlimax after a wedding, isn't it? You've spent all that time and energy preparing, and once it's done, it's hard to get back to "normal". Have you something in the near future to look forward to? I try to always have something; it helps when I'm having a bad day.;)

Maxonian oh, poor little pudd'n-cat; that's uncomfortable, I know from experience!

Sexy nothing wrong with feeling a bit flat. As LW says find something to look forward to. Even if its a day in the sunny garden.

Maxonian Ouch. Used to be every couple of months for years. (((hugs))) to puddy tat.

I just want to say a big thank you for all the thoughts and prayers for Meggie. Her scan and other results came back negative and showing no spread or further tumours :j So she is just concentrating on fighting the one and has had chemo this week. Hopefully, she will be allowed home this coming week.

Continued thoughts and prayers will be much appreciated :A

Sexy - I'm feeling an anticlimax after the royal wedding!

Bitty day but got most of the things I'd planned to done. Not much flying other than laundry but I have started a bit of a fling in the kitchen to be continued tomorrow.

I have 6 BIG holes to dig in the garden tonight... one in the new bit and 5 in the bit that's been neglected for the past year, so is a mixture of hard clay and weeds (bindweed, goosegrass, creeping buttercup). However, overall the garden is starting to come together, although the back needs serious work and the main flowerbeds still haven't had their shapes cut properly. I also need to try to start the mower, as the lawn and hedges need tidying up tomorrow.

How do you get rid of your bindweed?

No change for OHs dad although he had his eyes open for a while earlier. He kept trying to talk but it was too quiet for us to understand.

Well, that's another day with not much done! :(

I didn't find a picture to paint, so I didn't do ANY painting at art this morning! Just sat and gossiped :) DH went swimming with DS (DH is in training for the London Triathlon in July, & is a bit worried about the swimming bit!)
2 loads in WM, dried & in again (just before ND lit their new chiminea)
    walked dog
went to the garden show and bought lots of plants, some pots & a wind chime :)

Tomorrow, the plan is to get up early. DH is going swimming again (with DS & DD) while I take the dog for a walk/swim (he is a spaniel!). then back home to pack up a picnic & then off to Audley End for the day. I will have to leave the planting 'til Monday - I hope the weather holds out!

I may post my list later, to try and give myself the kick up the @*$e I need to get it done :D

Mumto5 - whereabouts in Essex are you? We are SO misrepresented in the media!!
