Was up on and off in the night, took painkillers at tea time yesterday and the stomach problems materialised at about 3am. Not fun, off to get a shower in a mo so I can feel human.

The new freezer does not work:eek: in fact it may not even be a functioning fridge. Can't get hold of anyone until tuesday and will now have to try and deal with the food. Have managed to cram a fair bit into DDs freezer but will be eating the rest over the next couple of days. And I cooked a huge pan of chilli for the lads - they will eat it willingly but that is not the point

Plan for today is to do dailies and spend at least HHC in DD's cesspit.

Hugs to all who need them, prayers for aj's Fil.

Good morning all. Just having a quick coffee then I am going to clear out the greenhouse. I ventured out there yesterday when a kind frind gave me 4 tomato plants. What a mess - still got last years shriveled up stalks in the old growbags. OH will be pleased as I can empty them on his raised bed. Back to work full time next week and out every evening taxiing kids. Hope I can keep on top of everything.

What a lovely morning it is here - bright and fresh!

I'm up and ready to go - think I'll make a start on some HHI then have a think about what to do afterwards - should really make some inroads into my assignment in fact as the panic phase kicks in I think I will!

DS3 needs to learn to tie shoe laces before Tuesday so that is OH's job today heeheehee... I've also asked him to build the desk we got for DD1 and if she doesn't want it now the boys can have it.

Then 4 days on the road back to sunny glasgow (is it sunny jackieg? please) I'll be using some of that time to create my toots list. Need to do something in the garden so I can get veg in now the frosts have hopefully passed. Last year it was the middle of May before I could put anything out.

I cant speak for Glasgow, but its gorgeous further east ;) Another day of vegging and reading in the garden I think.

I'm up, washed and breakfasted. Washing up done, bleach down plugholes and overflows and cleaning cloths in the WM on a hot wash. Need to work on getting stuff tidy ready for a week away. So once I'm dressed (just catching up on work-related news and emailing a few links) I need to empty bins and go to the tip - emptying the full garden waste bag will give me room to do some weeding (the others are full... one of apple twigs for kindling, the other of topsoil which I can't use till I've done more work on the garden). There's a VERY long list of stuff to be done today :( and I can't see it all getting done, but lets hope I make some progress!

    Morning everyone :hello:

This week seems to have whizzed by and I've only done the paid thing for 1 day!

The weather has been lovely here so we have not been in much. We had a great time with friends watching the wedding the other day, really enjoyed it all, the dress especially was lovely, very Grace Kelly.
Sexy - I'm feeling an anticlimax after the royal wedding!

lol I know what you mean!
I want to buy voile panels for the LR soon to be master BR. Any recommendations?

I got some voile curtains for Miss A from Ik*a (apologies Mudders!) They do panel curtains as well. The voiles I got are so long (we have standard modern room heights ie 7 foot) there is enough to cut off and make tie backs from, when I get round to it :rotfl:

We are off to my see my aunt shortly to have lunch for her 60th Bday so the SW's are currently having their annual shower :D

Love, hugs, congrats and commiserations as appropriate to you all.
