Well I did my HHC and carried on with another :) I de-cluttered my front room of mugs, rubbish and tided up and took cushion covers off to put in wash :) Wiped dishes and washed rest up including horrible greasy grill - it's now clean and shiny :) Hubby has taken boys to get new fish so I'm going to have ten minutes or so and have a cuppa and some toasted fruit loaf - I'm starving :)

Jay Jay - Hope you feel better soon x

Will be back in a bit :)

Oh yes nearly forgot - I started my pound a day jar today :) I've started it in a money box I have here but will be picking up one of those cans that you have to use a tin opener to get it all out at the end - just to stop the temptation of taking it back out before the end of November :D

    hi all

Have been flying this morning-cleaned bathroom, done two loads of washing. On the bathroom subject how best to clean a new metal towel heater? I had it put in instead of a radiator but I am nervous of using Mr Muscle on it which is what I have to clean the rest of the bathroom with. any suggestions gratefully received.

how to clean shower doors? been following the daily programme but this stumps me the door back to cloundy after each shower any ideas?

I clean mine once a week with window cleaner. I would invest in a scraper thing which is rubber (which has a proper name but it eludes me - this happens more and more *grumble* and I'm ONLY young)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:typo spotted - widow cleaner lol

and I would use a microfibre cloth for a quick wipe after I had wiped it with the scraper thing - are you in a hard water area? Is is glass? Is it scratched?

washing out. Have decided to do a salady/fajita thing for tea but have had the sense to see if there's any chicken breast in the freezer and there is, so I won't need to get any at Mr Ms.

IF you go and watch a dance show with a 17 YO boy be prepared to be moaned at. ALL EVENING. We went to watch DS's GF's show at the Pomegranate last night...

Gintot Re the towel warmer. I use Mr. Sheen on mine (cold) to shine it up. It's taller than me, is mine! Mine's chrome. If your is painted use a solution of stardrops or other detergent in warm water to wipe it down. It shouldn't be 'dirty' as such.

I am not holding my breath or getting excited BUT hopefully I have a roofy guy coming tomorrow at 10am to give me a quote for the guttering/pointing/bay roof :D

I REALLY hope he turns up.. I want to get the room plastered ASAP and can't until we have guttering and pointing done..

    Valli: Squeegee!

Well, a decent number of items sold at the Vintage Fair: boxes back in the cupboard. (Also, due to the carrying and van loading, I have the urge to say Stuff It And Get Rid:D)

However, there is now a second pushbike and a large number of panniers in the hallway as it was free:mad: (Bike number 1 is in the living room on a training device. No, of course it's barely been used.)

Icklies are creating Narnia out of lego, am loitering avoiding schoolwork and contemplating gardening and housework to avoid it for longer.

Lovely sunny and breezy day again today so got to find something to wash as managed to empty the basket yesterday(!)

Am off to start doing something productive at some point today - but not sure where to start yet - kitchen, bethroom, our room or reading book in garden?

laundry - No3 out, No4 in WM, 2 waiting (unless DS1 adds more)
    homework with DS2
    school work
maybe clean LR window and front door (NN had house sandblasted the day after the window cleaner had been )
phone SIL to change arrangements for birthday meal
    lunch
    tea
general flying - 15min each in LR, kitchen, [STRIKE]stairs/landing[/STRIKE], bedroom, bathroom, DR, DS2's room

ETA DS1 sent upstairs 10min ago to change his bedding, hunt down laundry and tidy the bottom of his stairs (he's in the lot). Shall we run a book on how long it will take him?
