Woke up early on Friday and started on the wardrobe - I cleaned out a third of it and it looks a lot tidier now. Big bag of clothes I no longer wear has gone to the charity shop and there was a couple of forgotten gems in there too that have gone in the wash to be part of my regular wardrobe again :)

Today I've been picking out things to list on eBay - I'm targeting my CD collection. I won't get much for it but I have far too many CD singles so I've been putting the music onto my computer, photographing the items and now about to list.

    1. Organise paperwork
    2. Throw out miscellaneous paperwork (ie old leaflets, things that no longer hold any importantance)
    3. Clear out the eBay box and either put the contents onto eBay to be sold or get rid of them!
    4. Tidy bookshelf
    5. Completely remove everything from my wardrobe and scrutinise what should be in there, what can go and what needs to go elsewhere - work in progress
    6. Rediscover the floor (harder than it sounds)
    7. Analyse clothes in wardrobe and dispose of as appropriate
    8. Clean out handbag of stuff that doesn't need to be in there that is making it heavier to carry around
    Thank you competition posters!

Fence is painted, DS1 did well and even though he said he was so tired after 1 panel he finished all 3 &half. I was tempted to take over but resisted. I am trying to help him learn things that will be useful to him in the future. Lawn is also painted but it doesn't matter.

Ironing is done, and 1 hot spot cleared. Front lawns cut (by DH), DS1 bike fixed for now, many cups of tea decluttered,

Only 1 more day left then boys are back to school and DH to work. Am looking forward to getting back to routines and lists.

Can anyone remind me how much of a lemon do I put in microwave to freshen it up etc? HHC 15.45?

Managed to get the mower working for long enough to cut the grass - but I'm now out of petrol!

Can't get the strimmer to work... its about a thousand years old, so its not a disaster, but annoying as it's too late to take it to the tip and get a replacement. If I'm organised tomorrow I may do a final tip run before I leave (taxi is coming at 2.30... I need to be packed, the house needs to be tidy and cleanish, and the garden needs to be watered) so that I'm prepared for mowing/hedges/strimming and yet more weeding next Sunday.

One more load of washing to do as well... but I'll put that in when I'm done in the garden. Also need to speak to a neighbour about watering next week, as apparently its going to be another dry week.

Need to check in for tomorrow's flight soon as well...

I suppose I should have a think about what else I need to do before I go!
  • You are all making me feel really guilty about procrasinating in sorting through my wardrobe with all your actvity but at this time its still not enough to get me to do it.

OH arrived home at lunch time so he's been fed and was straigh back out the door to see his LO for the first time in weeks as LO's mum keeps cancelling contact.

Vey little has been done today. I tried to do some studying earlier as I need to get at least one essay done before I go back to work but the words seem to get eaten up by bain fog as soon as they enter my head:o:(, so Ive given up. Although I have managed to get washed and dress which is more than DD has.

Me too - I've just put 2 things on Netmums. Still got loads of stuff to put on but I'll get there!

Flying wise, done all dailies and spent a lot of time in the garden - managed to fill the green bin for the bin men tomorrow. I bought us a Wii Fit Plus with the money from typing on Saturday so may try to declutter some calories later.

laundry - WIP - losing count
    homework with DS2
    school work
maybe clean LR window and front door (NN had house sandblasted the day after the window cleaner had been )
phone SIL to change arrangements for birthday meal
    tea
general flying - 15min each in LR, kitchen, [STRIKE]bathroom[/STRIKE], DR, DS2's room

ETA DS1 sent upstairs 10min ago to [STRIKE]change his bedding[/STRIKE], hunt down laundry and tidy the bottom of his stairs (he's in the loft).

The gammon is on, cat's litter tray has been relocated (and new location pointed out to cat) and two punnets of strawberries hulled. I promised DS2 that we can dip some of them in chocolate later. Kitchen and DR next, then I may make a cake. I have lots of eggs, but will need to check first how fresh they are. Lemon drizzle or carrot, I think.

    Afternoon all

Earlier today I vacuumed through downstairs and then washed the kitchen floor. Also prepped veg for tea. Then went to two garden centres with DD1, we had a coffee at each (the second was much better ;)) and I bought a foxglove which I planted as soon as I got home. Cooking roast for tea now. Oh, and I dried a load of washing.

Just ordered a silent wall clock for the kitchen from Amazon. I got a new one and it ticks so loudly, I can't bear a ticking clock. It makes me feel physically sick, ticking my life away.
