    LOL at my son...

'why is Charles hanging about with the Queen?'

'Because the Queen is his mum!'

    'Is she?'
Along the same lines, this was posted on a friend's FB status yesterday (she's a teacher...):

Me: "So, who can tell me what special event is happening on Friday?" Some muppet in my form: "Prince William's marrying Katie Price!" Has this kid been reading too much OK! magazine? Or not enough? :rotfl::rotfl:

Lots of plants bought... a couple planted. Not much else done so far... might go and sit in the garden for a bit before kazw's rain arrives here...

Aww lovely wedding and fantastic dress! Went over to mum's to watch it and welled up a bit at times. How they kept their composure I don't know but they did

So no flying today apart from daillies done.

Think its an early tea and early night for me and have an early start tomorrow nipping out to do some errands then some boring essay writing

HHI then off to cricket practice - not me DS. it's been glorious here so all washing dried on the line. The downside is the ironing. When I use the TD I fold everything as I get it out to reduce the ironing bulk. I try to justify the TD running costs by saving on the ironing. OH just rolls his eyes

I find that stuff dried on the line doesn't get as creased as much as stuff in the TD, so I iron LESS when I'm drying on the line (particularly when its been blowing a gale)... Get OH to help you fold it so that you can really get the creases out of stuff like sheets, and see how you feel...

Can I ask what you used to get it white again? My tile grout is starting to look a bit pinky/orange after a shower - not really noticable when dry but I want to clean it - tried using stardrops but that doesn't do anything.
    Many thanks

PS No flying except dailies today sat on sofa all morning watching wedding - gorgeous dress, dissappointed by no red arrows for flypast though my DS was gutted - loves the red arrows.

I started off with vinegar on a toothbrush. After rinsing that off I used bleach on toothbrush and then rinsed that off. (Apparently if there is any mildew bleach will kill the spores). Hope that helps.

Congratulations seafarer's wife, and your DH.

Hugs for ajmoney and your DF.

Well I spent the vital part of the Royal Wedding in the hairdresser as my appointment was postponed from Wednesday evening to 11am today because she had a disaster with a previous client on Wednesday. My friend was over to have lunch and watch our wedding video and look at our pictures, so after that, I watched the highlights of the wedding on the BBC. She looked lovely, and William and Harry looked really smart. Unfortunately I fell asleep just before the part where William took her away in the Aston Martin, so I've just googled it to find out what it was like, as MIL has just left after having a piece of our wedding cake and a cup of tea and watching Shrek.

Moon is outside cutting things up in the garage to make targets, as he's shooting on Sunday, and his playmate will be back from his holiday in the USA, so I think Moon's getting excited (boys and their toys *rolley eyes smiley*).

I'm off to have a doodle online for a bit, and then to start the dinner.

Hugs to LadyL - please text me if you're reading this, as I'm worried that I've not heard from you.

    Lots of love,

    sexymouse xx

I didnt see the Royal wedding as DD is watching The only way is essex.

As an 'Essex Girl', I would like to point out that we are not all like that!

    Welcome Fizz and Natc :)

I didn't achieve much today, but I have sorted out my small wardrobe and dusted the blinds. Took the dog for a nice walk in the late afternoon sunshine at a bit of the nature reserve that we haven't been to before :)
I am working on my big list (making the list, that is, not doing it!!), which i may post later, if that is okay. Dh is cooking dinner. i also need to draw a picture (or at least decide on a picture!) to start painting at my art club tomorrow.

    .

Goodintentions DD thinks its like Hollyoaks, lol After seeing it today, I wonder what the cast of the Liverpool one is going to be like.

Not much else done today flying wise other than make dinner, S&S the kitchen and put the DW on as there are no bowls in the house as DD has been eating ceral all day.

DD and I took dogbot out for a short walk before dinner. I feel really sorry for him as while OH is away his walks are reduced to a few 15 mins trips around the field at the bottom of our road, spread out over the day. I so miss being able to go off on long walks with him as he is so much fun o be out and about with.
