Hi Fizz and welcome. Read post 1&2 thoroghly - and remember your house didn't get into a mess in a day so it won't be immaculate/spotless/organised in a day.

    Afternoon all

Lovely time watching the wedding. Did get the ironing board out for the balcony bit.

Going to reload the WM now and then sort the last pile of wood in the garden. Waiting to see if DS3's cricket shoes are ready for me to go and collect.

I've just spent the entire morning and part of afternoon clearing out the six magazines under the coffee table and one small box of bits... distracted a little I think...

Need to make a start on the everywhere-drobe today

Have ironed another batch of laundry and realised I cannot find the kid's passports or the bag with the keys and locks for the suitcases  nevertheless I have 'nested' the suitcases ready to go in the world most useful cupboard (where the cylinder used to be but the previous occupiers made a good job of doing it up and you can get LOADS in there. It's where my 'upstairs' vacuum cleaner lives too, and the lightbulb box (because I have to have about 10 different types of lightbulb for various fittings), and the towels, and the odd sock basket and the crate of spare bottles of lotions and potions and still more...

    Kids STILL asleep!

    :rotfl: LOL

just had an email asking if my car CD player is in need of an upgrade...
I have a CASSETTE player in my car :rotfl:
    (it doesn't work, either!)

Grouting in bathroom now heading back towards white. (Previously orange from limescale and some black mould). Window shelf decluttered, cleaned and essentials arranged tastefully (!!) back on it. Will tackle the long shelf later - my back is aching from bending over the bath

Looking around I think it is more a case of clydesdales or shire horses needed. Maybe now the royal wedding is over, some of those very nice men on big horses can come by with a grenade or two!!!

Thank you all for the welcome. :)
