I've tried the one that magnifies what you point to with the cursor ( that's when I manage to find the cursor lol)
It just 'confuses' me and I cant get along with it.

to be honest I prefer to use the computer as it is. I seem to manage OK most of the time

) I 'unchecked' the bold before i clicked 'post' and it didn't work!

Fair enough, I'm just suggesting things because you do come across very harshly (as do we all at times), and the font definitely doesn't help.

You need to select the text before unclicking the bold button. I've just tried it and it definitely works.
    Gone ... or have I?

At times though, whgen people are trying to wind me up (as melly was the other day) it just seemed to aggravate him even more that I wasn't biting lol

still if it makes him happy.......lol

i hate the little 'smileys' that jig about all over the place.

I get the feeling i will soon be subject to many comments.

I should be getting my mobility pass (my psych recommneded me to get one and signed the forms cos i can't drive for MH reasons) soon and since i don't "look disabled" i';m worried i will get a lot of negative comments.

Hi I too fully understand both sides of the 'What have you done to yourself?' Issue. Having been asked it so many times, I eventually got myself bright purple crutches which kind of indicates I don't have a broken leg or ankle, it's not a temporary thing that needs NHS crutches. lol
I too have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome type 3, but have the added joys of Orthostatic Hypotension and Osteoporosis of the spine. But I sooo get how upsetting and irritating the What have you done to yourself question is, especially when you've been asked it several times in one day, lol. I know people are just trying to make conversation, not sure how to ask what's wrong, but eventually you get tired of explaining, tired of the shocked, horriffied looks when they realise you dislocate joints frequently with very little or no incident or major accident causing it.
However you also get the people who are just plain nosey, or people who think as you were fine yesterday, or as you've been on them for months that your faking or have done it for attention, then the what have you done takes on a whole new meaning and annoys the hell out of you. lol
Also you get idiots who see your crutches and imediatly think your adorable wouldn't hurt a fly fiance has beat the crap out of you! seriously we have had this happen, the guy tried to take my fiance outside, it took several of our freinds to convince the !!!! I was disabled, I was more concerned my fiance would actually flatten him for upsetting me. lol
Anyway hi to you all, huggles and spoons, Kitty.

let me explain (yet again lol)
i CAN read normal text, but in order to do so, I have to be so near the screen, that I am in a position that I am unable to type.
Having the bold on, gives me a few inches of room to use the keyboard.
It would be even better if I could use Caps too, but I realise that would appear rude!

Why are you letting daska who started the whole business & dmg24 bully you into changing anything you do ?

Its your disability .. .. if posting in bold helps you then you should continue to do so.

99% of the people reading these threads have no problem with your use of the bold font, the two who do form a tiny and insignificant minority and should be ignored. daska & dmg24 you should be ashamed of your behaviour .. .. your attitude to - other peoples disability - is despicable.

Leave the bold option on nannytone !

Don't fall for the cyber bullying, no one other than a few bully's object to your use of bold, and no one other than those same bully's would object to the use of both bold and CAPS in your particular case.

Cyber bullying is a very bad thing, when predicated on the disabled its terrible, when practised by the disabled on other disabled its even more contemptible.

    lol
i'm not the type who can be bullied!

dmg24 usually makes a lot of sense ( to me anyway) and i have no problem with their suggestion, and if it was as easy as typing in bold, then i would have no problem at all complying.

i'm of the opinion that if you can give it out then you should be able to take it.
and i certainly 'give it out' at times lol.
