Good news - its steady gentle rain and the garden will love it.
Better news - I lost 3lbs last week
Best News - I paid £15.82 off the mortgage capital this morning by rounding down my account. I know, I know - in the great scheme of things not a huge amount - but baby steps:D

Looks like the good news is outweighing the bad news, then!!
Raining here too. Front grass is cracking from lack of water - we're on heavy clay:sad:.
Need to go to town today - can't muster much enthusiasm, though. Need to get a birthday pressie for a friend. Aren't men difficult to buy for?
Have a good day, everyone

Good morning
Raining here too, and I forgot to get my washing in last night so I now have 2 lines full of soaking wet clothes again, once I have managed to wash and dry the rest hanging around I'll have to get it all back in re wash and dry
Mg good news about the extra mortgage payment.
Not doing much myself today, as It is pretty tidy here
DH managed yesterday to re-coat the garden table and 4 chairs (4 left to do) and stain the floor bit of the decking. Although where it has rained in the night, where he put filler in the table cause it was falling apart, the paint has washed off.
Looks like it is inside jobs getting done today.
Oh and I forgot to say yesterday, Dh pzaid for my new underwear and bought me flowers, and took me out for dinner (take away fish and chips).Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

DS1 has just asked for a pajama day (seeing as Golf lesson is cancelled till Monday due to rain)
Ive asked him if he wants to do anything special - but I think he wants a hang-around-watch-a-film-bake-some-cake-make-some-pizza-and-watch-DR Who kind of day - I can sniff a NSD:j
DS1 says this is his favourite day of the week - as he really likes my homemade pizza - I havent the heart to tell him its just a cooked cheese sandwich and as cheap as, well HM pizza:rotfl:
I'm having a quick tidy and throw the WM on - then I am going to attempt to organise the trousers I cut out for DS2. I dont know if I will be up to sewing them up - but fingers crossed. Might even treat myself to an old MGM musical on the video to keep me company.

That's good, its a start at least and exactly how you should be treated, I still think he needs the odd kick in the testicles to sort him out mind you.

I think you're too hard on yourself MG - 37 days on £91 is pretty incredible IMHO.
As you still have about 15 years worth of stores in your cupboard I don't really think you need to worryYou can probably make that last £10 last until the end of May lol!! (No, that's not a challenge
)
Claire: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm to fish and chips. We like to go to the Barbican on Sunday lunchtimes to watch the boats and munch on fish and chips. The fish comes straight off the market down here, so it's ever so fresh and scrummyWe like to sit here:
