  • Sending lots of positive vibes to Greenbee.

Sunflower - 3 hours to lunch, we want an update on your cv progress please. Come on my lass, you can do it.

Not sure what today will bring - most likely it will be glossing shelves.

    Have a great day all.

I handed it in with 15 minutes to spare. can't quite believe it and think maybe bits were wrong/not detailed enough but hey it is enough for me that i had a go, I have in recent years been bottling things like essays!(OU anyone!)
How well I know that feeling:o

    Good Luck Greenbee!

August de-cluttering sounds good to me. Still got more to do, particularly garden de-cluttering.

My new sewing machine arrived this morning, am so excited. Once I have done a bit in the house I shall have a play. I'm hoping to make quite a few Christmas presents.
Feel a bit better today so hope I can at least spruce up the place for the weekend.
I'm craving some proper food, but sadly don't think I'm that much better, couldn't manage a sandwich last night.:(
    More later.

Hi Tricia, hope its going well for you still, it sounds wonderful - and you know, there's a blue plaque to Anna Sewell on a school ten minutes walk from me, here in Sussex. I'm walking past it today, must figure out what it says ....

Her father was a bank manager in Brighton and they lived down in Sussex till he retired. Then they moved back to Catton in Norfolk. I'd be interested in hearing what the plaque says. Thanks.

Cheery : love that blog and will be reading it tonight.

Greenbee : I'm to late for you to see the good wishes message but am sending positive thoughts anyway.

I'm getting ahead on the August de-cluttering this weekend by sorting out all the lockers and cupboards in the caravan and also cleaning up my hard drive and bookmarks.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

    Good morning

Have had a quick clean through, so the house is tidy, just the kitchen floor needing sweeping,

Boxes were delivered at 9 this morning, so thats my next job, start sorting and boxing jewellery, at the moment I'm on the phone waiting to renew my tax credits :( I forgot about them. so thats my first frog today, I may be on the phone some time. Just did the what would I get calculator if I come off incapacity and it says we could get £138 a week which is £69 more than we are getting now and with the £40 back to work credit I would actually be £1 odd better off lol. I'm going to wait to see what the disabilty advisor says first.

Greenbee, . like Tricia I am a bit late in good wishes but will be thinking of you. Been there, done that, so understand the feelings you will be going through.

Cheery thanks, I follow that blog and it is lovely

Willow you do need the Secret - I used to have an ecopy but have lost it along the way. Google it and you will find it I am sure. You need to stop thinking about what you CANT do and start thinking about what you CAN do.

Decluttering is a constant for me at the moment. My challenge in August (as well as the ongoing decluttering) will be to try to find a buyer for my flat!

Thats the point I got to - that I was "slightly" better off coming off benefits - which gave me the push I needed to step out.

Of course the £40 In work credit only runs another couple of months for me so need to stop avoiding the writing and move away from cleaning my kitchen LOL

Too many books (OK only 10 which I am sure is nothing in FW's world) with markers sticking out of them and too many sheets of paper with notes on them (and some of them are repeats of notes I had already made)
    Aaaarrrggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
