Deep breaths here matrixettes (and a few calming vibes wouldn't go amiss! :o)

Last Tuesday - consultant told me I had to start taking new lot of tablets. Told me to collect prescription from docs on Thursday.

Thursday - rang docs - they've had the letter, but not done the prescription. Will take 48 hours.

Monday - I was away all day - asked Mr Daffs to collect. He collected the prescription, but not the tablets...

Tuesday - I was away again - sent Mr Daffs for tablets. Chemist didn't have them. Instead of leaving prescription with them, brought it home again.

Wednesday - I was in London (should have fished it out of his pocket and taken it with me!) - asked Mr Daffss to pick it up again, but he forgot and was then too busy.

Thursday - I'm away again, he just rang to say he's left it in his jacket in another city, and won't be able to get it til tomorrow

Friday - I could have got the damn thing myself, except now I can't. He'll apparently be too busy all day to go out and get it, and won't be home til late evening.

Saturday - I will be taking my prescription and getting my tablets myself, and will remember not to bother asking next time!

Aarrgghh! Good job I can survive without them isn't it!

<will get back to cheeriness in a minute :o>

Do they do things like that?? I wouldn't be able to pick it up til tomorrow morning anyway - and if it was going to take them longer than that to do it I may as well wait for the other one to come back tomorrow night :rotfl: Maybe I'll give them a quick call and ask :p

Cheery how about asking if you Doctor sends prescriptions direct to certain Pharmacies? Then you just need to phone, check it is ready and go pick it up in the future :D

    Back again

Just did a box order for more boxes for the weekend, had a row lol for leaving it till the last minute again lol. They will be delivered 9pm in the morning :) So I can then just box up the rest of the jewellery.

Katie made some stunning mobile phone charms for me, picked them up from the market this morning, plus my pinnies and scarves.

That is a great idea. Hate to say this Cheery but if they didnt have the tablets the other day and he brought the prescription home, are you sure they will have them if you get there on Saturday. I would definitely ask if the Dr can phone the prescription through to the chemist today. They will then have a chance to get them in for Saturday.

Good point, Buffy is very quiet - maybe she has her head down and working away.
