Have just found that Mary's on Amazon for 50p less (once you factor-in the P&P)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aroma-Home-Screen-Wipes-Poodle/dp/B002LARCTY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311840263&sr=8-1

If you have any Amazon vouchers, even better!

Cheery - thanks you just made me realise why I put off hanging the washing up. It is EXACTLY the same reason (Mr C hates the washing around the house, only in one room (the room of doom) and we have no outstide line) I get so fed up seeing it hanging around as well to be fair so this week it has been better because I am not working I have put the maiden into my office and managed to get lots of washing done.

MG - I think it is a great idea to start the new thread on 1st August. Hmmm short challenges? How about:-
    • Home Cook Days - how many to do in the month
    • Reduce number of hours on the internet
    • How many strangers we can get into a conversation with
    • make/mend/refurbish one item per week
    • take one photograph per day

Can you tell that I am looking for little things to improve my world?

    Loving Mary by the way.

Wouldn't you just believe it, today is my first day of FUN for my holidays and it is grey and threatening rain. So I will potter this morning then meet Mr C for a surprise picnic lunch again. This afternoon I have to sneak out and buy him his birthday present for tomorrow Wellies! I am also planning a teatime treasure hunt in the forest tomorrow so need to plan that, write the clues and then go and plant the treasure tomorrow afternoon.

Morning everyone, having a majorly grumpy morning, everything seems to be annoying me at once.. but it will pass.

My thing like hanging up the washing is packing up eBay sales to post - I always think it's going to take ages and don't want to do it, but then when I do it's only a few minutes :o

(as for washing, I stick the clothes horses in the garden whenever possible.. in winter stuff gets put on all the radiators and that does drive me a bit mad.. having to wander all over the house to hang it up and then the same to collect it all again :rotfl:)

MG: I think new thread on 1st August is a good idea. How about a challenge around how cheap/free/ frugal we can live for August? You'r good at filling an idea out! Saw someone on another thread/blog who wrote down everything they were given/found for a year and it was amazing.

Frugal living for a month would be cool - bit unfair to use August for those of you who's kids are just off on holiday - maybe a "back to school - a budget month in September" might be a better idea.

I'm at my Mums today working (she has got the kids off for a playday with her best friend) - Oh! and babysitting a border collie with a tummy bug - NICE!!!!

Will email the mentors and see if they want to chip in.

BTW!!!! 365 days till the opening ceremony of the Olympics:D wonder what we wil lbe doing in a year?

  • Morning Matrix. Just done the shopping and very nearly feel out with my husband. He can be such an idiot sometimes. However, I now have him busy doing some jobs. Although apparently, the fact that he has to do the jobs is entirely my fault so I am sure I will suffer for it. Can men get PMT? If so, then he has it.

Come back down to earth with a bump this morning. Going to chomp frogs and get through it all. Bleurgh.

I had something similar to Mary but she was holding a doorbell and hung on my bedroom door handle :D

The new thread idea sounds great, a challenge for me would be to get my mum and her partner to be more frugal... that is definitely going to be hard. They are both brand snobs and think they should have the most expensive everything and would NEVER have anything second hand...

    Well it's free :D

Tipping it down here - so grey and cold. Makes me want to go and eat stodge - so just as well I have a decent packed lunch with me.

Off to trawl the CS in a mo to try and find some trainers as mine have sprung a leak - will need to get a wiggle on as the mentors ar calling at four so need to be home again.

Hope you guys are all having fun
