Growl! No, I'm not doing a journal for £1.52!

Darling, I have done a journal for SEK 0.01 :D

I was bored out of my mind yesterday but am busy at work again so all is well (we are redoing our balance sheet recs and as one of my colleague is on hols I get to do hers as well :j).

So here is the dilemma. Why am I super organised and ahead of myself at work, hating if I have nothing to do. And absolute sloth and disaster zone at home with piles of unopened post, paperwork that I can't find, washing piling up, removal boxes still unpacked after 2 months....

ETA: I can get to the other side from home but not from work, will try sort that out tomorrow

No, it is just me being pedantic when having odd bits left on the accounts. :o

  • You me and about half the thread love - if only we could work out who we want to be when we grow up :rotfl:

WE now have a tent in the front room - and a very excited DS2

    MG

I know but look how many of us are heading for / around the half-century  - you'd think between us we'd have things at least half-sorted by now :rotfl:.

So cute about ds2 - seems a looonnnnggg time since my two were that age.

My tada for today is four shelves and eight shelf brackets all primed. Just contemplating attacking the back garage wall and getting rid of all the loose concrete and stone chippings.

Waves at dirtyepic reading in the ladies at work :D

 to Dirty Epic too. Now dont be giggling too loudly in that cubicle or people might start to worry about you :D

I am very proud of myself. I have completed my CV, spent hours on my Linkedin profile (although still not happy with it I have drawn a line under it and moved on), and ...... wait for it......... I applied for the job in Austria  I dont even expect to get an interview as I have no experience in that particular industry, however I have pointed out in the covering letter all of the relevant skills that match, word for word, the job description and told them I am willing to learn. So it has gone and now I will forget about it. I think that, at the very least, my name will be on their books should anything suitable come along in the future.

So, let the holiday commence. Sun is shining and it is very hot here in Wales for the first time in many weeks so I might just sit in the [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]garden[/STRIKE], area for improvement and draw some plans up.

LOL! I sometimes get a shock when I remember my age :rotfl: My eldest is 50 in a few weeks so I've better not be much younger.

Really? I honestly thought you were younger than that :D

Just finished off my first high viz vest for the kids when we're out and about. I've used nearly 4.5 metres of bias tape on it thought  So just had to spend another £6 buying 20 metres (incl P&P) to make sure I have plenty :o

Did all I set out to do today. Go me :j

Having a giggle at the thought of dirtyepic in the loo on her phone :rotfl:

cheri - well done for applying and sending positive vibes that you get called for an interview :)

Marru - shall we be honest? I just don't think housework floats your boat ;) Accounts on the other hand.........
