First day of school holidays and the boys are already driving me mad.Feeling a little sad and worried as DS1 left primary school yesterday
and starts at new school in Sept. He has ASD so I am very worried about he will fit in at the new school. His teacher said on his school report that she thought he would be traumatised and find it very difficult:(:(.
Wishing everyone a happy day.

Aww sweet have a huge (((hug))).
This makes me very cross - she should be linking with the secondary school to put in place procedures to support his transition not just writing the negatives in his report.
So, deep breath, elbows out and take his report back to the primary school and speak to the head-teacher (she should still be about even tho' school has finished).
Eta: need to carry on reading before jumping in - glad to hear he is going to get some support at secondary school0 -

I love it. I remember those days so well and miss them. Do you think a 31 year old son wants to come and play? Or how many kids can I adopt?Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Well, I am here again. Displacement of immense proportions going on. But...have done a mind map of the whole report and know exactly what is going where; Dragon updated and entirely tamed. All set to go - from now to eternity, it seems.
As to directions and 'should be' - I think I am going to look to zen on this one. Ride the waves of life because it doesn't have to be anything; it simply is. What is is what we do and what we do is what we believe, we think and we feel.
Reading this I probably need some rest and lunch.
