Cheri, if they ask you at the course 'what would you do when you see a church?' the answer is 'slow down'. Reason: schools are usually next to churches.
I have never been to one of those but still know - don't ask!
Have fun during your time off and rest!

You'll have a lovely time off Cheri! :T :T :T
Mr Daffs just went on one of those courses a few weeks ago. Apparently it was actually very interesting, and even he (who has also been driving over 20 years, never had a ticket etc) learned something. Bloke who ran it was an ex copper, and it was done very well apparently. Try not to be cross (although it is rather frustrating!) and treat it as a learning experience! I was surprised Mr Daffs came out as positive as he did actually because he too was  at getting the ticket (also doing 34 in 30 zone - lots of other people on the course doing far more than that, I have no idea where the course/points cut off is).
Glad you've got a little ahead of yourself crickett! :T0 -
Afternoon - class did me proud and raised £100-02 for their various charities which will be posted off tomorrow. They wrote soem lovely letters to the charities themselves explaining what they had done and why they had chosen their particular charity.
Had lots of end of term pressies so going to share them between people we know and love as there are only so many chocs a girl can eat:oMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

I believe the cut off for speeding is the limit plus a 10% leeway for speedo error, so a 30 zone they COULD allow you up to 33 (the 10% depends on the police officer/magistrate etc) so 34 is classed as speedingDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I'm home - with two rather exhausted kids who have spent all day at the aquarium. I asked them on the way home what they had at the cafe for lunch (so I can do something else at home)
Guess what they had??????????????????
Fish fingers and chips!!!!!!!!!! Am I the only one that thinks that is just plain wrong?? :rotfl::rotfl:
So no Nemo in batter for dinner tonight - something with pasta instead

I expect to spend next week chasing people to GRN their orders - not that I want to suggest anyone cheats the system of course.
We only do manual accruals for non-PO'd stuff. This basically involves guessing what people have ordered wihout POs and bunging in something to cover it.
I HATE YEAR END!
I can report however that I have done all my correction journals (i.e. non Year End stuff).
So "just" [STRIKE]bodging [/STRIKE]adjusting left to do.
Enjoy your holibobs Crickett. What are your plans?
Ahhhh... that might be it. I have worked in lots of places where GRNs weren't automatically accrued. I will ask my boss tomorrow if I get a chance.
Plans are to go to Hampshire and then visit the parentals in Wiltshire and then come home. I am looking forward to it. But have the fun of packing to come as well!!
I too, LOATHE year end!!

Thanks everybody. I am more mad at myself because I never speed (well that is probably not true but I do try very hard not to) and I am always very careful not to. That particular day I had taken a wrong turning and ended up in a part of Cardiff that I dont know at all. I wasnt really used to the car either.
FW thanks for that tip - I would probably have said something sarcastic about the church.
Is anybody else still having trouble with the other side. I keep getting a message that it is still not implemented. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
