Well done on the weight loss SouK :T:T:T.
Pretty cr*p day here all-in-all. Battling with dd(16) at the moment - she wants us to keep her in the life she would like to be accustomed to - why can't we go on holiday, like all her friends; why can't we go clothes shopping; why can't she have her new lap-top now instead of at Xmas. Hmmn, that'll be a little reason callled no money . Then dh walks in like a thundercloud, he is fed up being poor (his words) - arrghhh, beam me up Scotty. Where is the banging-head-on-door smilie when you need one - grrrrrr0 -

Oh dear thrifty xxx Perhaps you could sit down and ask each of them what they're doing to get you back on the path towards richness

Ok... I've been having a bad week with the medication ... and have just been told by my dad (a retired GP) that I have to get hold of my GP in the morning before I take another pill...
But this and this and related links have cheered me uphope you enjoy them!
Hugs, congratulations etc as appropriate ...
I'm off back to the sofa/hot water bottle/wine/chocolate/ice cream...
ETA... another one to try here0 -
Good advice from Dad there - let us know how you get on.0

Thanks Greenbee - I really enjoyed those. Listen to your Dad and insist on speaking to the GP, hugs my friend.
Not achieved too much today but had a lovely walk with my friend and then we treated ourselves to tea and a scone in JL. I've been working on my car insurance quote and have managed to get company to drop it £76, don't think I can better that so it will be a job done (still an increase of more than I'd like but better than it was).
Off to my Mothers to sort her finances tomorrow. Patience will be needed in an abundance and with AF due it maybe limited. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

dorastar - right had a look at campsites on this site. Some are caravans only, no children or a bit too far out but the ones I'd suggest you looking at are Aston Cantlow, Island Meadow site - this is near Henley in Arden which is on the way to Stratford Upon Avon. Warwick is only a drive away from Stratford. Newlands Caravan Park is at Wellesbourne fairly close to Warwick so ideal. There is a place at Southam which a tiny bit further away but do-able. And finally there is one a Bidford on Avon, again this near Stratford. Hope that helps
You are a star, thank you, I have been faffing around for so many days about making a booking and now have hopefully booked somewhere - and if not I have some decent alternatives.
