    OMFG!!!!!

So I had typed up my moan earlier - pressed submit and then the moby went.

Then I have just spent the last hour on the phone to a "friend of a friend" calling from Lanzarote. On the 13th of August she is starting my "2 weeks to write a book" project and may be interested in usig my Mindmaps as a monthly item in her training packs.

Would be so good if this came off!!!!!

    MG

Sounds like a plan's coming together for you MG, well done. Can I be nosey and ask what your '2 weeks to write a book' project is please?

And well done to whoever quoted you your own website! I hope you were suitable inspired!

Hope you're all having good weeks.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: MG :rotfl: :rotfl: Be careful what you write indeed :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm graduating today (finally! and hopefully for the third and LAST time!) :j :j :j

Mr Daffs and my mother are both quite wayward in their own separate ways, and liable to go ambling off in different directions, so might tie them together. Not a good start - one is refusing to walk, the other refusing to go on the bus :rotfl: :rotfl: If they're not both in the right place at the right time I might just go without them! :rotfl:

Have a good day matrixettes! :T

Congrats Dr Daff! I am up to my armpits in graduating people at the moment; makes getting around the place very tricky indeed! :D

Congrats also to MG. That sounds like an amazing opportunity.

Clairewop, lovely, maybe you just need to sit and be for a little bit, to hear what the Universe is telling you? It will be telling you something, no doubt.

Hugs to everyone who needs one.

I cleaned my house until it shone yesterday. The carpets looked shiny, even. The cats thought I was chasing them around the house with the Hoover - poor babies...! However, the place looks amazing. It took me 5 hours to get it clean, and I have threatened my hubby with a hideous death if he makes it messy before we go away. Last night, I treated myself to clean sheets, clean towels, clean me and clean pyjamas and I went to bed early. It was blissful!! :D And I slept pretty well too.

Came into work this morning to find that LadyJ is probably off again today. This means I have to jump in at the last second to go to a meeting, which a) I know nothing about and b) have no idea where it is. Going to have to take a taxi to get there as well. :( Oh well, I shall claim it back, for sure. One slight problem, I am totally not dressed for a Managers meeting. I thought I had a free diary day to sit at my desk and work like stink, and therefore have dressed appropriately! Oh well. I shall have to tough it out, I guess. LadyJ might go to the meeting anyway...although she was off yesterday, so perhaps not. :(

Right, time for a cup of tea, and then I am going to attack my to do list... in the vain hope that I can get something done before haring off to the other campus for a meeting!! :D

    Have a good day everyone!

Enjoy, Cheery - funny gown and hat, and all. I slept later today - was feeling rather rotten last night and suspect am absolutely exhausted.

Have a fabulous day Dr Daffs :) xx
  • Have a fun day Cheery .

Sounds like sleep is the order of the day FW, glad you managed a lie-in.

The order of the day at Thrifty Towers is cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. After two days of sanding, in spite of closed doors, the dust has found every flat surface in the house - twas to be expected tho'.

Am also taking dd to the physiotherapist to see how her knees are doing after a month's worth of exercises. Such an exciting life I lead.

    Have a good day folks.

Congratulation Dr Daffs - Hope you have a lovely day, and don't lose anyone on the way!

Had some sad news this week. A great aunt has died - however, since she reached the age of 103 I think her funeral will be more a celebration of her long life than a very sad occasion. Have told my girls to wear something colourful instead of the usual black. This is to celebrate auntie, who 30 years ago started to wear purple! Purple tights, purple shoes and purple nails! She was a lovely lady, but in recent years she was saying she had had enough of life, so I am hoping she has been reunited with her husband who died many years ago.

claudiac - Hugs for you sorry about your great aunt but wow 103, good age :)

claire - I second what crickett says, rather than looking why not wait to see what signs appear?

Cheery - Well done Dr Daffs, enjoy your graduation.

Crickett - well done on your house cleaning. Wanna come and do mine :p

MG - lovin' a Matrix-er sending you your own blog as inspiration :rotfl:

dorastar - right had a look at campsites on this site. Some are caravans only, no children or a bit too far out but the ones I'd suggest you looking at are Aston Cantlow, Island Meadow site - this is near Henley in Arden which is on the way to Stratford Upon Avon. Warwick is only a drive away from Stratford. Newlands Caravan Park is at Wellesbourne fairly close to Warwick so ideal. There is a place at Southam which a tiny bit further away but do-able. And finally there is one a Bidford on Avon, again this near Stratford. Hope that helps :D

Dull and rainy here but that's OK. Trying to catch up on housework. Just munching the same old tadpoles LOL Have a great day everyone :D
