I didn't have to go to the meeting in the end. Thank heavens.

Have done quite a bit of work today... head is spinning. I am currently reading the Government White Paper on Higher Education. I think I want to stick pins in my eyeballs. Man, they can write boring, boring claptrap can't they?!! :D

Still got tonnes to do though. Have several meetings tomorrow, so I need to get my head down and really, really work hard tomorrow. Then again.... :D:D:D

    Congratulations Dr Daff.

Was searching for something totally unrelated, when I found this (loved it). I think sometimes we could all do with the certificate. Just wanted to share because I think its sooooooo apt
    This certificate states that

LOL Fantasia - especially as I drew the long straw ad got to accompany DS1 to see Harry Potter in 3D this afternoon.

Big treat for my wee man - and he has even got a plate of his favourite pork in black bean sauce for his dinner so he's doubly happy.

Being a responsible Mummy I also "liberated" a rucksack from Grandma to press into service as DS1's school bag and bought him 10 pairs of socks for his school uniform (so its not all playtime here).

Off to pop the kettle on - desperate need for a pot of tea

Well done to all that deserve it, I read all the posts then completely forgot who's done what...oh and hugs to anyone that needs them. Hope you're all well.

I've found two jobs that I would be suitable for and I shall apply for them when I get home as I need to ring jobcentreplus. Dog walking business can wait as I've realised how majorly unfit I am so I'll work on that before I start walking dogs for hours and hours xD

    Congrats Dr Daffs!

Ace news on the project MG and loved the bit about pointing you to your own blog!!! Just had your lovely lemony lentils with salmon tonight again. Lush.

Got locked out this morning and had to pay £30 to get back in. What a fool! Had to keep my keys on two rings as the door is a right performance to get into with two seperate keys and I only took one out with me. I went to the gym at 6.30 and ended up outside for hours. Twas dreich and cold. I wont do that again.

Work is quite quiet so getting loads of office bits done. Off Sunday and Monday and going to my friends annual bbq on Saturday night. Made home made burgers for it and going to stick to the diet but have booze. Up until Monday there I've lost 6lbs so far with 6 to go. X
