:A Claire, not silly at all re the hoovering when I lost both of my dogs I didnt hoover up for days because I couldnt face it. Then when I finally did I ended up sitting on the stairs blethering (as I am doing for you now). You take all the time you need to grieve. It is proper grief. I have my GSDs and Cocker Spaniels name tags attached to my keyrings still to this day. I scattered their ashes together (I waited 3 years after the second one died) on a path where we walked. A few weeks ago I was visiting my home town and I went to visit them.(I know they werent there but even so) Not silly at all.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - Robsmum - excellent well done. Love it when they put the phone down. Thats a sign of somebody who knows how to handle a difficutl situation when the tables turned on them, bullying little ****

Really sorry to hear about Jack, Claire :(

I couldn't bear to lose my dog, it would be so quiet without him. I missed him being around the house when he went to the vets for an hour...It's funny how pets become a part of your life. I don't think it's weird that you don't want to hoover his hairs up, it's quite sweet really.

Vet has rung Bill is £199.38 :( needs to be paid asap, because its a private cremation.

Haven't done the stairs will do them in a few days when I feel ready, as that's the only place now that has Jacks hairs left. (from when he used to sneak up there and sleep on the landing) The bit of the house we live in most had to be cleaned and bleached in-case Jack had an infection, cause it was really wiered that one day he was ok, the next he was poorly. Just being cautious incase the infection gets passed on to one of the boys.
