Claire I'm so sorry to hear about Jack. Losing pets is hard. When my childhood dog died and my mum rang to tell me I cried so much that DH actually thought it was my grandad who had died

Looks like the Chorizo and lentil salad was a hit last night - thanks to everyone who comments on the blog, it does make me feel very appreciated on the days I am cooking and photographing.
And in response to a message on here - yes feel free to send links out to the Blog to your mates, the more the merrier I think is the expression.
I've got a bean and lentil chilli in the slow cooker - and it is smelling gorgeous. Hate to think how little it costs to make as all the beans came from Approved Foods. I know you guys are sick of me harpingon about this - but I really love my store cupboard.
So a huge thanks to Souk who inspired me to dig out my lentil recipes and share them around a little - now we just need to identify my next cookery challenge ................. any ideas?? Suggestion for low-fat Indian Food was mooted on FW thread?

Just popping in to say "Thank you" again to all you lovely lot. Since joining you I have gained so much in confidence that I now don't bow down to pressure from debt collectors:j I have just had a lovely conversation on these lines:
DC: We need a payment now of £58 to bring your account up to date.
ME: I am awaiting my copy of Credit agreement and full statement of account from you before I make any payment.
DC:There's no record of this request on your account and we need a payment today BLah Dee Blah
ME: The letter was signed for on 29th June
DC: Last time we spoke you wanted a discount for a F+F and now your saying the account is in dispute
ME: No, I want my agreement
DC: Why?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ME: Because National Debt Advisoryadvised me to send for this before I made an offer of F?F.
DC: We know about them. We have rights also you know. We have the right to keep contacting you:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ME: I have rights also. I have the right to my Credit agreement and I also have the right not to answer the phone.
DC: Are you refusing to pay?
ME: Yep, until I get my agreement.
At wich point they hang up.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
