Good plan souk - and good on you being able to see what you would gain from the employer and the experience!:T :T

    Bitsy - fabulous summary!

Fantasia - Brilliant peak flow result. I do hope you are very, very proud of yourself.

Willow - follow your dreams and make it happen. Like MG says, there will always be someone who will have something negative to say about it. What's important is what you want for yourself.

Marru - that's a great hurdle over and done with. Glad you have gorgeous kitty to keep you company.

BTW, we haven't heard from Kittikins recently, anyone know where she is?

The mobility show last weekend was great and I was able to try lots of cars and scooters. I have decided that scooter is more than I can afford at the moment as I would need to buy a bigger car meaning greater initial expense plus higher running costs.

So now I need to wait for the adaptations people to get back to me as to whether my first choice car is suitable for what needs doing.

Today OH is coming over to help me with a big frog - here's hoping we get it done by the end of the day so this week I can get chomping on another one that I'm very behind with.

    Have a great day all.

Morning all (only just)! The PS2 Slim my OH bought a couple of days ago for his little brother has already broken. The people that he bought it from won't answer their phones now so we're stuck with a broken console.

Oh wait, now it occasionally works xD

Just popped in as I've had to come inside because it has started to pelt down with rain. So instead I am having my "lentils for lunch" (will post the piccie and recipe for Souk in a mo)

............. although I am thinking that lentil soup may have been the way to go today:rotfl: Gotta love a Scottish Summer.:D

DS2 is parked at the open front door with his sandwich watching the rain come down ................ think he is hoping for more of the thunder we had yesterday.

Souk - I have no doubt that even if you were wearing trainers for work you would still deport yourself as if you were in shiny black Jimmy-Choo's

Cheers MG, having the rest of my tinned lentils for tea tonight and off to cook up my other bag now.

Elaine Paige is on Radio 2 and all is well in my world.

Doing lots of thinking today and looked at the 101 days ago on the day zero project (see Stitching Witchs diary). Had forgotten all about it but had still completed 36% of it! The things I haven't done include buying designer shoes and handbag...but its on its way! X

    Good afternoon

I'm on a mission with getting through the washing, as I have refused to use the tumble. On my 4th load :) another 2 and were done :) Dh then got a load of ironing :) Or Carly lol Would rather dh do it cause I have to pay Carly lol.

Sneezed again today and hurt my back again :( everytime I sneeze my back seems to get worse.)

Right off to battle with the washing line again and get another load in the machine.

I was taught to raise one knee towards my waist and curl over when I sneeze to protect my back. Might work for you.

Feeling bleurgh but got heaps of school stuff to get done and got to visit Manchester Museum of Science and Industry to risk assess it for a school visit on Tuesday - feel much more like heading back under duvet but only 10 more days to go before hols.

The museum! We love it - when Little Boy was younger we almost lived in the Science Museum or the History one. Looking out of the window I can understand the temptation to get back in bed; but why not forget that going to the Museum is work and become a child again?

Hello Oceanspirit and Matrixettes :) I've been lurking, dealing with frogs, being all loveydovey with OH, enjoying DD, trying to stay less stressed with work.........and having a bit of a setback with my s*dding leg :( I seriously thought I'd broken my leg somehow the other day as it was so horrible, so went to the docs and am now on superstrength painkillers which mean absolutely no alcohol (so that'll be good for the new diet!) and lo and behold the pain has gone overnight but sounds like I need to keep taking them to keep the the levels.....

Anyway....I'm on day 3 of SWorld and am feeling far more energetic and focussed than I have for a long time :)

I must try and get back on to the other side again, I get myself very confused and have only been on there about 3 times!

Thanks for the lentil recipes MG, I'm a big lentil fan :)
