I hate packing... and apparently its COLD in Oslo0

Haha, the last time I went to Oslo, it was minus 27!
Do enjoy yourself if you have a chance to look around though, it's a really sophisticated kind of city0 -
I was just wondering whether I am the only one who is already up and at her desk - have already 'written' (using Dragon Naturally; very appropriately) close to 1,000 words; and what words these are!
Greenbee, is this the long term forecast? Because it can change very rapidly in the North. As to packing, I have started to learn how to travel really light; and of course there are always things I have forgotten - like hairbrish, shampoo and toothpaste. All easy to buy...
Have a good time in Oslo. I really love it except when I get lost in the red light district in my running shorts. This was not nice, felt terribly under dressed.

Firewalker I am up and almost at my table (not got a desk) will be starting on the schoolwork marathon after posting this and one more post elsewhere.
Dh was supposed to be in charge of icklies but didn't get in till 5am after a weekend away so he has already given up on the day and crawled back to bed - scooby doo, tom and jerry and merlin are entertaining icklies till he wakes up.
Got to finally get some frogs eaten as off to see Greg Davies tonight and back at work tomorrow.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Sure you weren't feeling OVER dressed
Not writing but about to make a loaf of bread and planning on some new additions to the garden. We can't plant this now but going to invest in an apple tree I think and I quite fancy some fruit bushes. The fact that I don't actually eat fruit is not detering me in any way :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Go FW!!!!!:j
I'm up and much less "ouchy" than before -still not fighting fit and Mum has arrived to take DS1 to his golf lesson leaving me here with DS2 (I think I could probably drive ............. but don't think I could lift the toddler in to his seat IYSWIM)
She is coming back after the lesson and taking both kids to the park for a good-ole runaround. DS2 in particular needs to burn off some steam - DS1 has been so helpful these last few days that I am glad he has got to his lesson.
I have been up since about 4 - reading pammyj74's MFW diary. I am amazed at this lady and her focus on paying little bits n pieces off of her mortgage. So I have printed off my 21 year payment schedule and have set my first target to getting below £125K, with the second being getting below £120K. I have a long way to go, but figure each pound I pay at this stage is a pound I don't have to pay interest on for 21 years.
I have set up a SO transferring £168 per month into my Mortgage, which is my year 1 target ( 12 X £168) - so one payment has been made and £40 every Monday gets thrown over. I figure if I make it automatic is is less painful.
The whole plan hinges on getting DS2 in his room upstairs - so tomorrow I must make a decision on the plasterboard and set a delivery date (in a couple of weeks when I am fit to lift 18 sheets though :rotfl:)
In the meantime I will aim to have all the timber on-site by next Friday .......................
Don't I sound busy??? Well just doing what I can until fighting fit again.

My packing isn't too bad - the work stuff is fine, but it's what to pack for free time that is always the problem. And how can you travel light with running stuff? My running shoes are always part of the problem (even if the rest of the stuff does fit inside them!).
Forecast is Oslo 10-12, Stockhom 6, Frankfurt 14... so colder than it has been here! I don't think shorts and t-shirt are necessarily in order...0
