I'm left handed Willow, the trick not to smudge your writing is to tilt the paper so your hand is not rubbing against the writing IYSWIM.

Clooties Mum - congrats for 25 years of marriage :T :T:T. Dh and I are 21 years this September. Bah to high court cases, would a nice letter explaining help out at all. Failing that, tell them you're going to cite them in a divorce case and demand compensation :rotfl:.

so for just now you are allowed to have a "Hard Times" session

    Can I have a "hard times" whinge, can I, can I ????

I'm sunburnt (despite putting loads of cream on); I'm kn*ckered; every bone and muscle in my body hurts even my bum - yes my garden fence is painted but.... I've got to do it all again as it needs a second coat - goes off hobbling :rotfl:

Willow - lovey I know you're mum is probably doing your head in and you're not in the best frames of mind but I am reading your posts and you're doing what I've done in the past, coming up with reasons why something won't work. I am a lefty and it is possible to write without smudging ;) Look PM me with what you want on a flyer and I'll even type it out and print it for you and post it. that way you could get some photocopies done.
You could put up a notice in the window of the post office/supermarket or corner shop. Some newspapers have free ads in the classifieds section, why not offer your dog walking/grooming skills there. Tell everyone you know that you're willing to come and water plants for peoples holidays etc.
Sorry I don't mean to sound harsh but I've been there and found all the reasons for why something won't work rather than looking for the solution or a work-around to the problem. You CAN do this.

I have a fledgling baby bird in my garage in a box. Positive vibes the wee thing survives it's ordeal (courtesy of my cat). I am getting rather sick of this, she even brought the unfortunate animal in the house to play with

PS Highly recommend L**L Demi Sec CHAUMET, a Rose sparkling Perry (sparkling wine made from Pears) £1.99 per bottle :j.

Its a barbie pink colour - but hits all the spots for a girlie drinkie as its sparkling, prett colour and got a lovely fruity / berry taste.

Yes, my honorary three year old dances to mama mia - and says "oh my god" quite a lot...

No Elena, you can't have McDonalds for tea... "Oh my god!" comes the reply!

LOL my DS went through this phase after watching Mamma Mia. Now it's "oh. my. word." :rotfl:

I've lived at home all my life, for the past 18 years there's been no problem but as soon as I left college I was expected to just magic a job out of nowhere I suppose. I've literally been out of college less than a month, they seem to think I'm not that bothered about finding a job but I've been searching and there's really not a lot out there that I can do. I've applied for 3 jobs already today and I'm not even halfway through my job search. I have £150 which I was saving up but I'm gonna live off it until I have a job so I'll buy my own food and pay my own bus fare. It's not much but it will do as I don't expect to be out of work too long with the amount of jobs I've applied for recently. Oh well.

Willow, you should go to the Job Centre and sign on. My DS1 has been applying for five-six jobs a week for the last 18 months (and he has some experience) and there is nothing....

It will be great if you get a job immediately but meanwhile there is not real point to spend your savings - rather the reverse you should be growing these.

MG, is right - the problem is not that you don't have a job but that your parents probably expect you now (that you are an adult) to contribute in some way. Taking on all the house work is a good way to do it. And I know...I am on the other side...

I was thinking of my staff ... About 6 years ago one of the girls who worked for me turned round to the two guys (19 and 42) and said "i've got 2 teenagers at home thanks... I don't want to have to listen to you two acting like kids all day" .... So they sulked instead
