Lalalalalala kind of day - pootling around and doing stuff - sat and waited for parents at parents eve and no-one came so got on with stuff in class instead. Tomorrow I get a day to myself without class so am going to load up car boot with all assessment stuff, ipod, choccy and a flask and lock myself away as long as possible till some frogs have been chomped.

Have read the LadyJ idea so am now going to rename my nemesis from Hagqueenbi**h to LadyP (she is off after an op atm so I have time to get used to her new name!)

    Willow - don't run off - please :o

I must admit - Cricket & Dorastar - I like the renaming ideas.... must work on that one

And can I just say in my defence tonight - yes I did sit outside with wine & a paper ..... but only after a day of work with 2 yet to be renamed people & then the moving & stacking a tonne of cut logs.

And DH is working late & as I'm taping "The Apprentice" & another programme for him - I can't even watch TV - ironing calls.....

OK - what sort of education can we give him when Mum

is a m***** world champion (5 times over)
can make gorgeous dresses for drag queens
used to work with roadies & probably knows more words than I know
learned to drive in London :eek: and only knows right from left due to large red ring on right hand :eek::eek:
had Suga darling visiting the other week
and invites people she has met on t'internet to visit at the house & to stay (if DS! told you this was happening your reaction would be?????)

    :D

................ ad who went off to work one Thursday and came home on the Sunday having taken off for a wedding in Capri with a guy she had just met.

............... who can roll a joint one-handed (had to learn to do it for a play - honest!!!)

.............. who used to consider a three course meal, a cup of coffee a packet of Marlboro Lights and a bottle of vodka.

........... who the drugs squad used to phone in advance to book in their drug raids when it was convenient (mind you we did used to be able to sell the contents of the cleaners hoovers for £70 a gram:rotfl:)

............. who has been in love with same guy for 20 years and has never told him (well never caught him between wives if truth e told)

................. who had a phone call today from a publisher wanting to know if I can turn one of my book ideas into a film script because they have someone who may be interested in optioning it??

Trouble is they need it in 6 weeks :eek:

Your right Clootie, I'm a disgrace and should from this point onwards go and take my ageing aunties advice and go and get a proper job :rotfl:

Thanks for the giggle - I really, really needed that

Six weeks MG? Where's the problem? You know you can do it, and we're here to help :D

Having said that, like Crickett, I'm shattered and need (but probably won't achieve) an early night.

Windows have all been done, ancient chest freezer taken away, kitchen and sitting room are now spotless, and I have found someone to help me finish the garden. Now I just need to write 5 presentations by the end of the week and everything will be fine!

    MG - you're not a disgrace but......

I don't think any of us could show DS how to roll a joint in 1 hand (reminds me of an Ab Fab scene)....

LOVE that expression 'do you think I am zipped up the back?' Not heard that one!!
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
  • What about... "do you think I came up the Clyde on a bike?" That was my Dad's favourite.

Six weeks - go for it MG :j. Glad you (& Bitsy) approved of my Antonio link :D.

Off to have a second glass of Rose (on a school night ) - one of those days, much needed.
