no need to throw them out in future!
Off to sleep now... If it hadn't been for the need to dispose of a giant mutant 8-legged creature I'd have been in bed ages ago!0 -

Thrifty - My dad used to say 'do you think I came up the Clyde on a banana boat?!!'
MG - Did I read that correctly? You had a call from someone wanting to make a movie out of one of your book ideas?? What's stopping you? Is this not something you dream about? Sounds like a great opportunity, but then only you know if you can really pull it off. Surely you could make like a diva and get an extension on the time.Sealed pot Challenge 2011 member No 1241 - Final total £154.21

Thanks for the giggle - I really, really needed that
MG
And what is this 'proper job of which you speak'?
Is it possible that ageing aunty would actually be thrilled if you ignored her advice? At least you would give her something new to bring to her Bridge evenings. :rotfl::rotfl:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -

Shove the sad veg, peelings etc., into a bag in the freezer = Voila, the start for any kind of stock. Very :money: . . . and a nice warm, green feeling. But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -

Calm down love :rotfl:
I've been asked to create an outline and turn the first three chapters into a script.
................. which MAY be taken to a producer
............. who MAY option it
................ who MAY commission the full script
.................. who MAY be able to interest a studio
............... who MAY be able to fit it into their schedule
............. who MAY be able to fund it
................. who MAY be able to cast it
.............. who MAY then start filming.
So don't start dieting into your Oscar frocks just yet - the odds are still very much NOT in our favour ................ although to even be asked means they see a germ of something in the story so I'm holding out for m "magic number" just in caseSix figure advances are not unheard of after all all.

Lalalalalala kind of day - pootling around and doing stuff - sat and waited for parents at parents eve and no-one came so got on with stuff in class instead.
Oh Dora that is so horrible - here's me being a whiny overprotective mother FAR too involved in my sons education and you get a complete no-show on parents evening.
This must break your heart for the kids

LOVE that expression 'do you think I am zipped up the back?' Not heard that one!!
You know the person who used to say that to me had worked for Jim Henson (You know the Muppet guy??)
I wonder if it has got anything to do with zipping hapless actors into Big Bird, Big Bear etc suits???
Don't know where it originates from - but I do use it a lot
