Her name is Kanya. I am keeping it for now but might change it later. See how it goes.

Ahhh, poor DS1, and Poor MG too. Hugs for you both. I concur with everything Robs Mum said, and also send a hug from a matrix auntie!
He will be stronger for it eventually, though it is most distressing now. Remember, the purpose of parenthood is to enable our children to be balanced adults. Having said that I do agree with Crickett and Robsmum.

Can I celebrate please? I have just reconciled and balanced a spreadsheet which had been eluding my ministrations for the better part of a month. And I have done it!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Woo hoo :T:T. I've been known to dance round the office when that happens. :T:rotfl::T:rotfl::T:rotfl:
Oh, poor DS1 - hugs to you both.
I do hope that the HT and her OH get theirs at some point in the future:mad:

    Vibes being sent for that!

    Well done, crickett:T
ETA. your Dr obviously missed the 'how to make your points tactfully' class. I wonder if it is getting like the days when everyone got told about their smoking whatever they had originally gone in for?

LOL! So right :D It's always the patients fault. Cheaper and simpler that way!
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Higs to the one who need them (MG and DS1, Crickett, Greenbee and all) and good work to all who have had a day that rocks (Cheery, Maru nice cat).

I am not doing great but don't know what is happening - may be just 'this time of the month'. 'this time of life' or the fact that we are going camping on Friday (which is not really me; and yes, I am a self confessed spoiled wimp).

    Feel terribly out of balance.

ooohh Camping Firewalker :) I love camping.

Well my tea is a quick and easy one. home made donar kebabs, had a pack of kebab meat in freezer and went to asda for salad stuff and pitta bread. tea was cooked in 5 mins :) lovely it is too.

Carly my mate dropped my ironing off earlier, so after I have eaten that needs to be sorted so it doesn't get creased again.

MG sorry DS1 is in tears, he will be fine

FW - try to think of it as an adventure :) I'm not really into camping, but there are benefits (being outside, away from everything) and the way I feel at the moment I'd probably benefit from it. Then again, OH thinks tents are for wimps

MG - hopefully DS1 will understand in time. I know it hurts you to see him like this, but he's learning and growing up.

Challenge has been set up on the other side, although I have lapsed and after a hideous day have given in to a very weak GnT :o

Well, it appears my body is making my new bed time around 8.30/9pm. Oooh yeah. This is the fourth night on the trot that I have felt compelled to hit the sack so early. Unfortunately, even when I wake up at the other end, I still feel rubbish. And I look like an extra in a Zombie flick! :( On the upside, I won't be able to get into any mischief or go partying till the wee small hours. :) Right... nighty night all.

And to DS1... you are right, Marru's cat is very cute. I hope you are feeling better about stuff now. You know, you aren't to blame for the school closing down, and every one leaving. It is just you feel like it is because you were caught up all in it. But we in the Matrix know that you are a very clever, very enthusiastic, very polite and lovely young man, and a credit to your Mum. So, I hope our virtual hugs have made you feel a bit happier. :D

    Gourgeous kitty Marru

And MG DS1 - hope you have only borrowed Mum's logon....... if not, you have to let us know when you're on - in case we talk about ............girlie things

PS - you're wonderful - it's not your fault - sometimes adults are just - weird....

And Crickett - early nights are wonderful - we're often in bed before nextdoors kids - early to bed & early to rise & all that malarky. for the next few weeks until the happy pills kick in then YOU need to take care of YOU.

PS - 2 glasses of wine, sitting in the sun after work & reading the paper for 2 hours before making tea is NOT recommended.....
    See what I mean DS1 :D

You think I would let my boy on here alone with you lot???? You think I am zipped up the back???:rotfl:

Mind you he would get an "education" on here that money couldn't buy -:D

He's off to bed now - a wee bit worried about tomorrow and still pretty sad, I am still heart-sore - so a very large drink is looming.

FW - suck it up girlie, couple of nights camping - doddle to what you have done in your life. Be a good girl and we will have a Matrix Glamping weekend when I persuade someone to part with a huge advance for my book :rotfl::rotfl:

When!!!! did you hear that Universe?? When!!!!

I'm so disappointed you don't trust us MG :p

OK - what sort of education can we give him when Mum

is a m***** world champion (5 times over)
can make gorgeous dresses for drag queens
used to work with roadies & probably knows more words than I know
learned to drive in London :eek: and only knows right from left due to large red ring on right hand :eek::eek:
had Suga darling visiting the other week
and invites people she has met on t'internet to visit at the house & to stay (if DS! told you this was happening your reaction would be?????)
